Thank you both xx
I think it is just one of those days. I've done not a lot, in fact...Nothing!
DS starts climbing club again on Sunday...he's on to his NICAS level 3 now (lead climbing) and if he completes this, he can move on to level 4. He's a proper little monkey lol
Tomorrow the kids (mainly DS) wants to go to the local indoor skatepark, am trying to convince DH to take him so I can sort out our bedroom...carp heap doesn't even begin to describe it!
Managed to pot some more change so quite happy with that, hoping to fill them up so that I can pay a huge heap off the CC's and off the cost of Christmas in December. Have to confess I bought the kids some felt tip pens for their stockings
Told you I was going to get organised lol

Good morning

Feeling much brighter this morning, poor DH had a moody wife all evening. Anyway I'm putting it down to the week we've had and the withdrawal off the alcohol. 10 days done, so I should be happy about that.
Managed to put 2x50p's in my tin yesterday, I changed them out of DH's change. Bottom of the tin is nearly covered now
Wonder how much it will hold when it's full?
On to today:
DH is going to take the monsters out to the skatepark this morning, well I say skatepark, on a Saturday morning its scooters only and lots of kids turn up with them lol
My plan is to attack our bedroom, we've mould on our wall now, so it needs a good overhaul. If you remember from my old diary, DD has a very damp and mouldy bedroom, well its in DS bedroom and now our bedroom. DH believes that the roof is to blame and once he gets settled at work and the crap weather settles down, he's going to get one of his contacts out to look at it.
Anyway, I digress...once our bedroom is clean and tidy, I'm listing on e-bay all the kids clothes that are hanging about in our bedroom and we have a load of dvd's that can be listed on Amazon too.
Need to get washing done today too, as won't get much chance tomorrow with Climbing club in the morning.
Have a good day everyone x0 -
Just done a quick play about with my spreadsheet and if we can pay off the CC's and ensure that the Water rates and the Council tax is paid in full every year, we will have such a lot of money spare each month!!!
What an incentive!0 -
Great incentive, I like to remind myself that if I can cut back and throw £X at debt each month, that once its cleared that will be £X to put away for something nice instead!
I've not thought of a spreadsheet, is it easy to do?£2 Savers Club 2014 #74 - £4840 -
You sound like you are doing so well, I'm really jealous. Things are very tight here until payday on 15th. Just enough to cover dds and I've had to use cc for bits of food and petrol. Haven't had to do that for over 12 months
still onwards and upwards. Still using up food stockpiled from Christmas so it's only bits I need. Waiting for a cheque to clear so this weeks shopping should be clear.
Kids clubs are expensive but I love that they are busy. Both my 2 have their hobbies. Glad to hear dh found another job.
Have a good day xNumber of debts between us - 3 (2 @ 0%)0 -
Glad to hear you are feeling better PMO2, and that hubby is being a star and occupying the kiddiwnks so you can have a cleaning blitz!
My OH is currently lying in bed full of cold, so I'm about to head out to town  to spend some money  on cold and flu rememdies for him. I'm gonna look in Primark too as I need some new gym kit!0 -
Good luck with blitzing the bedroom. I really need to do ours - every time I look at it - I think - oh not today!0

Good morning,
Monday and the first full week back at work for me and first full week for the kids at school.
DS is off to his friends after school today, I like his friend, he only started at DS's school in October and the pair of them hit it off straight away
The school clubs start this week too, DS has football club this afternoon and DD has Art club tomorrow, I only let them have one club this time of year due to the carp weather and if it snows, its unlikely they do the club anyway.
Have checked online banking and all appears to be in check.
DH and our neighbour attacked the two trees in the back garden over the weekend and apart from a few branches left, we might see some sun in our garden for the first time since we moved in all those years ago.
Planning on as many NSD as possible this week and aiming to walk to school and back too.
In work early tomorrow, so that's some extra money there
Didn't manage to e-bay this weekend, but will try and get some listed during the week. Whatever doesn't sell, will get taken to the charity shop.
Busy week this week all in all and hoping to get as much housework done as possible too.0 -
Good morning,
Busy couple of days so far this week. Was in work early yesterday so fairly pleased with the extra money
Got DH's birthday coming up at the end of the month, so need to get some presents sorted. He's a fan of the Hairy Bikers and he's always after a decent home made curry, so I picked him up their curry book so he can have a go at their recipes, need to think of something else to get him.
Have checked online banking and updated my spreadsheet. Trying my hardest to keep an eye on the account.
Had two NSD's so far this week, aiming that today will be another one.
Kids chores day today, plus walking from school today too...kids won't be pleased lol
Dinner tonight is rustic pan fried pork, spicy saut!ed potatoes and peas. We had Bolognese and fresh pasta and garlic bread last night, DH wasn't too keen but I told him I'm trying to use up the bits that are in the freezer before I go to Iceland with my stamp card from my mum.
Still not had a drink 13 days so far, can't see that the cream is working but not giving up yet.
Have a good day x0 -
