Hope cream working x0 -
Good afternoon

Well hubby has gone and had his meeting with a recruitment agency and all positive there and he's seeing another one at 2pm, this one has got him an interview this week, they just want to put a face to the name.
On the upside, I've also sent out my CV, nothing lost I figured and if I do get a full time job then it will help pay off the debts quicker.
Sold a dvd on Amazon yesterday which I sent out today but made a loss on it as it cost me more to send than what I got.
Kids go back to school tomorrow...I'm glad as they're doing my nut in!
Finally cut all the Christmas cards in to gift tags so that's one job done and did a top up shop at Tesco's, need to get some burgers but they didn't have any so will get some another day.
Diet is not going too good at the moment, I think I need to get into a routine once the kids go back and that'll help me keep focussed.
Have been using the cream for about 4 days now and not much is changing, but it is early days yet and I guess I have to give it more chance. Still not drinking and yesterday was the hardest day ever!!! So could have done with a beer.
Right, I've got to get the washing up and the washing sorted and get the packed lunches done for tomorrow.
Back later x0 -
I haven't been good with my diet today either, and like you I'm waiting until tomorrow when I'm finally back at work to get back into a routine. I've just found my pedometer and OH has put a new battery in it, so will see if I can make it to 10,000 steps tomorrow. Normally I reckon I do it easily, as I'm on my feet all day, but still not back to 100% so might want to sit down a bit more (if I get the chance!).
Good news with the interviews etc for hubby, and sending positive vibes for your application also!
Hope your cream kicks in soon. I used to have eczema (as a kiddy, then it went and came back when I was 22 ), and it took a while for my steroid creams to have an effect. Hopefully you will notice some results soon. Maybe you could buy some schloer or an alcohol free beer, so if you get desperate you can feel like/pretend/kid yourself you are having a drink?! :rotfl:0 -

Done that lol 6 days and no alcohol and boy am I grumpy! lol
Hubby has gone off to his interviews today, first two of the week. First one is with the company that the ex-director is desperate for him to go to and the second one was set up yesterday. Is it me or does a bloke look good in a suit??
Kids are back at school today (Yippee!!) and I have a day to myself; I go back tomorrow. Part of me is tempted to just veg out and do my tapestry but another part of me is saying no and to look around the charity shops...I'm in need of some clothes and other bits and as much as new stuff is nice, I can't afford it at the moment...so I think that'll be on the agenda instead...will aim for a LSD.
Going to try and be good day and not pig out and stick to my diet...I'm nearly 12 stone because of Christmas! So not a good look for me.
Right off to check the Savers clubs and update them, then brekkie before the school run.0 -

Men DO look good in a suit! My OH wears them for weddings and that's about it, so I don't get to see him in one very often! Good luck Mr PMO2!
Just remember the MSE mantra for when you hit the CS later, "Do I NEED it????", speaking of needs, my hairdryer has broke
I'm about to sit down and work out the calories in my breakfast and lunch, I need to keep a close tab on what I'm shovelling in :rotfl:
Enjoy your day of rest minus the kiddiwinks! EB x0 -
hellooo
good luck for hubby (and you)
I did really well on my 'diet' yesterday until I got home and neighbour came over with a glass of wine for me

Oopsy! I'm currently fighting the urge for chocolate. I tried a cup of tea, but it hasn't curbed the craving...:rotfl:need to buy some of the Cadbury's Highlights hot chocolate to stash at work. Only 40 calories a cup, damn sight less than a chocolate bar that's for sure!0 -
Just a quick one.
Hubby got the job
with the company that ex-director going to AND he got a payrise too
plus he starts tomorrow.
Went around the shops but bought Christmas pressies, so can take them out of my budget nearer Christmas time, once my lovely pots have filled up
Potted some coinage too, so happy day today
