ok so this threads taken a dive lol
as for moaning about me been in bay i shouldn't of been, are you serious? if it was 1pm and it was busy that's fine to moan, but at 3.45? seriously? if i drive onto a retail park at midnight and park in a blue badge bay, should i move just incase 30 or so people decide they want to turn up in the middle of the night to park? i try and park away from cars on car parks to stop scratches and bumps !!
i didn't park there knowing i was parked in the bay i did, i just did it in a rush as i seen the shutter about to be dropped on the entrance of the shop!!
so am i still ok with sending of the letter in the morning as suggested on page 1 then await a reply with a code to make an appeal? or would i be better telling them the little lad with was with me? and then prove he is autistic
ill be heading down to b&q in the morning first thing to see the manager0 -
ive just been looking up who owns the land and google is telling me its hammersons, should I contact b&q or ring hammersons instead?0

You can do both, but I think that an email to both is better thing to doWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

As I have said before, it is not a question of guilt as you clearly transgressed, it's the penalty of the excessive charge that I, for one, choose to try to help people on here.
On the point of including the little lad's condition, it would be pointless if he was with you and using his disability if he was not would be contemptible.0 -
letter posted!
I did go to b&q who told me all I can do is get hold of the land owner who is hammersons, I have sent them an email aswell0 -

I take back everything I have said. Obviously if the reason for using disabled bays is to reduce the risk of your care being scratched then how can that be wrong.
Others I am sure will entirely condone your actions and give you all the help they can to get you off paying any sort of penalty.
Nobody is condoning anything here! But I'm getting tired of you with your morals deciding on who and when advice should be given! If you feel that certain people shouldn't receive advice, then take it up with the site team.
You in your way are no better than the parking companies, they also want us to stop helping people, you do it because of your morals, they do it because it affects their bottom line. Both standpoints are incompatible with a website that is here to offer advice, help and to save moneyWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. update..
Mr XXXXX, I believe you have acknowledged that you were parked in a bay reserved for disabled badge holders and the signage we have erected clearly states that persons parking in such bays without a legitimate badge may be issued with a penalty. You do not have a disabled badge and our client is well within their rights to ask UKCPS to follow this course of action and ordinarily the payment penalty would be pursued. However, I have on this occasion been asked to waive the penalty and you should hear from UKCPS shortly.
We hope you continue to shop at Ravenhead Retail Park but as your registration details will be retained by the UKCPS database, I strongly suggest that you follow the guidance on the signage in future.

Interesting - do UKCPS normally break the Data Protection Act with such a cavalier attitude ? A company can only hold onto personal data - such as a registration number - if there is a legitimate reason to do so. I wonder what reason they think there is in this circumstance ?0
