Yes we know from your previous posts, but still people get advice here when needed! And it's something I said on the first post by myself on here .When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

I would have thought he may have mentioned it in his first post if that had been the case.
Sorry, but people thinking it is OK to use disabled bays as "I was in a hurry", "the shops were about to shut" etc really irks me.
Agreed! But we won't know unless the OP says so, and as we all know, Blue Badges do not apply on private land, instead the Equality Act does.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Scrootum - are you going to help anyone here? Or are you going to permanently 'sit in judgment'?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If my comments stop a few !!!!!!!!s thinking it is OK to use disabled bays, then I consider I have helped some people that deserve a little consideration. To me some acts are unforgiveable.
That's all well and good, we also point out 'error of ways', but then we get on with helping them with their problem.
So by all means 'wag your finger', but then provide them with some helpful advice. It's a much more positive way of providing a more permanent influence on future behaviour ..... surely?
Or do you have an alternative, more convincing and workable and strategy? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

But mistakes are made sometimes, and what is being demanded is akin to punishment which is unlawful! You are still not getting the picture with this , companies specifically target disabled bays because it's a cashcow!
They send their operatives to these locations because they can harass disabled drivers easier than any others, there are more opportunities as more people make simple mistakes, like not showing a badge (even though one is not needed) and other things.
Even a disabled charity DMUK formerly Mobilise are in on it, parking companies are corporate members, and the charity has been earning a commission of a sorts out of it. They even changed their advice after the scammers started paying them, most sickening is that they give the ticketers awards each year!
These companies are not there to help anyone but themselves, and the vulnerable in society are openly targeted by them, they would quite willingly take someone's DLA money to fund their lifestylesWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. You are indeed on your own, scrootum. No scammer should profit.
And nine times out of ten in the cases we deal with, the person WAS entitled to use the bay and either had no Blue Badge (but had protected characteristics of disability) or had a Blue Badge which was forgotten or slipped off the dash.
Remember that next time your Blue Badge slips off the dash! We would support you in your appeal of course.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry, but I believe that forking out £100.00 or so is much more likely to make someone think twice the next time they cannot be bothered to walk 100yds because it is raining or whatever.
Looks like I am on my own though.
Yes you are, and you are against the ethos of this site. We help here not sit in judgement! Martin Lewis was quite adamant on that, you just want us not to help certain people because of your morals, I'm sorry but that is not going to happenWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. That's a very sweeping statement - and I do agree that those who REALLY DO ABUSE such bays are arrogant and selfish, just wanting the convenience of a close bay.
But you know what? I can't remember more than a handful of cases on here in YEARS where people have parked in a disabled bay arrogantly because it was convenient. It's very rare to see such a thread.
Nine times out of ten it's a person JUST LIKE YOU whose badge has slipped down or a person JUST LIKE THIS OP whose passenger is a disabled child.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Nobody else is doing a thing to help those with disabilities in these parking situations.
Yes mistakes happen but the majority who abuse disabled parking do it through basic arrogance and a belief that their own time and convenience is more important than anyone elses.
I'm sorry what a bloody arrogant thing to say! We help a lot of disabled people on this forum, and your accusations are insulting to the people who freely give their time here specifically at times on harassment of the disabled.
Basically I'm done with you as you are to blinkered to see the big picture hereWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.

Look Scrotum, none of us regulars are in any way condoning the misuse of disabled persons' parking places, and we regularly issue admonishment to such 'offenders'. But this is a 'help' forum - and that is what we are trying to do here.
Do you honestly think that a private organisation has any right to penalise any motorist (the majority - as CM has pointed out - who have a health issue) on any bit of private car park on rules they make up on the basis of conditions (Blue Badge) that have absolutely no relevance other than on highways monitored by police and local authorities? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
