Crivvens... look like oil prices might be about to rise.
It's all heating up on the world stage, so I think I'll watch a film to give myself some light relief. *checks the TV guide* Vertigo. That should be a barrel of laughs.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I've somehow hurt my right elbow, not a clue what I have done though. Initially I thought I had just slept funny and with a little time and some bending and stretching of it, it would be just fine but hours later, I still cannot bend it properly without it hurting like a begger and any pressure on the joint and it bloody hurts, like it is badly bruised.
I do so hope it is not the start of arthritis in my elbow, it's my crutch side (although thankfully, not my dominant side) and I would be completely beggered if that started being a problem. That said, with arthritis pretty much in all the other joints, it was only a question of time, especially bearing in mind how hypermobile my elbows are and have always been.
One of the worst things - a pain with no explanation/apparent cause.
Hope it clears up quickly Sue.It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

I was given a notebook for my birthday last year (it was a riduculously expensive one that I would never ever have bought myself). I used it to keep track of what I'd sent when, quotes from solicitors, what was said in phone conversations etc.
I also made photocopies of everything I sent to anyone (ID, statements, completed forms) just in case anything went AWOL.
Good luck, hope it all goes nice and smoothly0 -

Seconded - photocopy everything, lj.
And Chewey, good luck with the application. I wonder if I'm guessing right who you've applied to.:)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Cheers- we're going with first direct's offset with 1.99% 2 year fix. Whopping great fee, but all the low rates have the same it seems. Scottish widows was slightly cheaper at 1.79% (0.2% off their normal rate for being an accountant...) but only one offset account allowed so ditched that.0 -
