Hm, cheap printer with scanner and expensive cartridges / ink, or more expensive printer without scanner and cheaper ink.

Doubt I'll print more than 10 pages a week. I mostly email / edit on screen.

If I don't use my printer for a few days I get blocked printer heads and have to waste valuable ink on a printer cleaning head run.

    Commercial property?
I suppose I'd be more inclined to consider converting it into flats tbh.

    Care home?
    Childcare place?

I'm not sure that the sort of people who want to live in Llandrindod Wells want to live in flats - there's plenty of space for houses, I would have thought.

Now a care home's definitely an idea, or maybe sheltered flats - the most desirable ones come with a hefty service charge and lots of communal facilities on the ground floor so you get all the companionship and support of living in a care home, while retaining the independence of your own flat.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Scanner is v useful. Do you have desk space for cheap printer with scanner and expensive cartridges PLUS an old laserjet printer with very cheap cartridges for occasional long print runs?

I'm very tight on desk space at the moment... plus, don't have enough plugs and don't really want to bring in electrician as the place was bodged-it-themselves by previous owner. That's one of the things that is drawing me closer to the combo option.

Silvercar, that's something I hadn't thought about, thanks.

Thanks again for the good luck wishes everyone!

I'm definitely dropping the jumper. It aged me significantly.

On the wifi in the hotel. There's something nice about doing everything you'd normally do at home but in a hotel.

It's attached to a 16th century coaching house which I'm told does good food so I'm heading there now! :)

That's the dress code for the Henley Regatta, without the labrador. Never seen so many pairs of red trousers.

Very best of luck, Masomnia! Let us know how you get on!

Henley regatta and Waitrose on a Sunday I think. Not sure what they make of me with a backpack (see above re walking at the weekend, trip to waitrose doesn't qualify as special occasion) and hoodie :D

Hope you have a good night's sleep in the hotel Masomnia, and all the best for tomorrow!
