I was (half) joking. After a lifetime of trying to avoid debt (not counting student loan) it really is difficult seeing that technically there are over 29 years to go. I'm not used to this level of commitment!

One very bad thing about having our mortgage with the same bank as my current account, is that every time I log on to internet banking, I see the mortgage account with a horrifyingly large sum and a minus sign next to it!

I suppose I'd be more inclined to consider converting it into flats tbh.

    Care home?
    Childcare place?

It appears its last use was as a toy furniture shop!

It would make a good B&B or boutique hotel.

Hm, cheap printer with scanner and expensive cartridges / ink, or more expensive printer without scanner and cheaper ink.

Doubt I'll print more than 10 pages a week. I mostly email / edit on screen.

Scanner is v useful. Do you have desk space for cheap printer with scanner and expensive cartridges PLUS an old laserjet printer with very cheap cartridges for occasional long print runs?
