Generally, my experience of t' internet is that every time a website changes a certain percentage of people won't like it. A couple of years later they change again and everyone complains that the new design is worse than the old one. That's just life.
It takes months to get used to the new design, and they generally don't make much difference to how useful the site is.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

NDG, the thing that occurred to me is that if someone had been farming they could be regarded as having a beneficial interest? So DoV might be cheaper than a court case? This is only from stuff I've read when trying to sort out my own stuff, and since then have kept an eye on the wills and probate part of forum. At least I was an only child, so didn't have to argue with others!
Will edit/remove if you wish.0 -
Channel 4 aren't doing well this evening.
Firstly talking about anti-gay legistlation in Africa an interviewee stated in one breath that only a small % of aid to their country goes to the govt, and that most of that isn't used for the intended purpose. Then in the next breath they said that aid shouldn't be stopped in protest at this legislation as it would hurt normal people.
Now (different programme) - they're saying that credit scores (i.e. the actual number) is vitally important. It's not!
And relax...0 -

I'm sure that will be part of the wrangling and arguing. I think my Dad's just miserable at the whole idea of it, really....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
i just get relief rather than solutions.
I finally signed up for a GP round here as I experienced a significant change to something normal. The GP was nice enough, I was told that they wouldn't usually do something after a month (no matter how out of routine my symptom was), and that if it continued to come back and they would medicate. I guess I've not lost being a scientist completely as I couldn't understand why they wouldn't at least do a test or 2 to try to identify the underlying problem. I'll definitely be giving that a gentle push when I go back (symptoms are continuing) - firstly as I get private medical cover through work and secondly because google tells me that one of the possible causes is entering the menopause
I hope you feel much better soon, missk. Its nice 'seeing' you around again x0 -

Started trying to get my ducks in a row re: mortgage etc today. Looked at mortgages. There are 8 billion different options. Spoke to a mortgage broker but that made it even more confusing as he mentioned a few options that hadn't cropped up when looking at comparison sites. He came up with an offset deal but despite the rate being great it was a crappy product which only lets you have one offsetting bank account. Back to stage 1 there - will require at least a hundred hours of procrastination on my part. I am terrible at making decisions like this where there are too many options.0
