And....
Only a few Scots are interested really .... probably not even the majority. This is a game played between rich Scots and rich blokes in London. Rest of us don't care and what we think is irrelevant.... so it's no wonder nobody's searching0 -
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

My nephew certainly isn't rich, and since he's only 14 now, won't get a vote in the independence referendum, but he certainly doesn't think it's irrelevant. My brother, who's not rich either but is old enough to vote, is desperately hoping it's a "no" because if it's a "yes" then (a) he'll have to decide which nationality to have, and he'd rather not have to, and (b) it will create colossal amounts of work for civil servants in the Scottish Office (of which he's one) setting all sorts of new systems up, and (c) political reasons I won't bring into the NPT.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? People can only know about stuff that's part of their life, if they've room for it on top of all the other things people expect them to know ... about everything.0 -

It's a department of the civil service, based in Edinburgh, dealing with anything to do with Scotland that the civil service needs to do. He does stuff about social housing.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? It is the sensitivity of my skin which means I try and cover up from the sum 100%, it doesn't take me long to burn and even before that my skin goes red and uncomfortable. Similarly we try to teach the DKs a healthy respect for the sun although in their case they ar probably actually fairly safe but there is a culture in this country (perhaps a bit like the drinking one) that getting tanned/burned is a good thing that we don't want them to follow
Like everything, there is a happy medium - speaking as someone who got teased big time at school for getting burned playing rounders in late April, I share your caution, but you can overdo it, honestly. I have milk-bottle-coloured skin, takes until mid-summer to go from blue to white, and a map of blue veins showing through. But, honestly, short periods of sunshine on unprotected skin are good for you, and you can always make it your forearms, not your face.I need some NP help with my DW. DW washed DS hair this AM and with it loose the only way to describe him would be extremely pretty. How can I persaud DW that it would be better for him to have a hair cut to a more boyish style? She is not against per se but she just loves him still being her 'baby'.
I think DS is the place to start - if he's not bothered, I'd definitely leave it alone.
Isaac had gorgeous large fair curls, and it took a while before I wanted to agree to have those chopped off. Although he was a bit younger than your DS when I did agree (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
