Better spirits this evening, better sleep last night, thank you. Pain meds have periods of effectiveness, always a bonus. :)

    TRAMPOLINE!

You need to look on the "other forum" for more info. NDG I know you've got a user id over there, but how about you zag? Do you need a PM to tell you where to look?

Me newbie here, so don't expect anything, but I'm interested to learn more...

    Loved the house, garden amazing.

Been reading this last week or so, but had DD1 plus GS3 here, plus had several visitations from the GrandTwins (GS1 & GS2) so been too knackered to reply to posts. We're still recovering! (need that roll eye emoticon back here!)

I think he's in reception at school, so must be 4 or 5.

At around 4 years old I'd leave it alone because lots of schools will have hair grooming as part of their uniform code and then it'd be someone elses fault.

If you like trampolining, (TRAMPOLINE!) then I think you'd love Aeroball. They have it at PGL camps, it's the best fun I've had in ages!
You bounce but have to shoot balls into your opponent's net, like basketball.

They featured it on BBC Breakfast a couple of weeks ago. I seriously considered hiring one for doozerboy's 40th.

That sounds great fun - I love playing netball, too, did it twice a week until junior took up ever-expanding residence

Forgot to say about lemonjelly's look at house - one of the bedrooms has the carpet my parents had in their bedroom in house I lived in from age 13-21. Guess bought around 1961-ish? They replaced it around 198?, and gave it to us (we too poor to buy carpets, always had cast-offs :o :rotfl: ) and it's still in DD1's old bedroom there. :rotfl: Perhaps we should take it up and leave bare floorboards before we try to sell?
  • My Dad uses some 1950s bits of carpets on his vegetable garden in the winter, to discourage weeds growing that he then has to dig up.

Edit - this has been answered.
Further update + link for silvercar now there.

I'm now going to have to think about what to do mortgage wise.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.
  • Going to bed fairly soon, but first, and especially for Hamish:
