My greatest frustration is most people think they can use google but haven't the first idea how it, or boolean logic, work. Library 101: if you can't find something, you'll know a way, or a person who can.
I am continually frustrated by searching for things I KNOW exist but I cannot find.
I use image a lot because of my word issues but increasingly realise that of they are coming up for me then a lot of people don't know the right words too. A while ago google did a sort of a change about and its really made it much harder to find what I want.
Its me honest who posted here sometimes could often search for things by image by using a pic we gave her and finding a nearest match.
Now, that would be useful.0 -
Spending an hour on google trends is a good way to get depressed about the ignorance of society.....
And....“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

My ankle is so puffy its the same size as my knee should be, but its ok because my knee on the same leg, with admirable dedication to the aesthetics of proportion has also ballooned. I've knocked my right foot at some point and the little toenail is all icky and bloody. I have a cold sore and grumpy skin.
DH says, 'o pretty girl, i think I'll do the hay tonight so you can lay there looking pretty'. I think, well......at least my dodgy eyes are more functional than his, rofl.
You've really lucked out because whilst he does the hay you get to watch the film Navy Seals which is starting on channel 5 right now.0 -

I've done that before... I usually google how to do it as I can never remember. Will see if I can find the link... (there is also a google beta version I think).
Edit: here is the google link http://images.google.com/imghp?hl=en
and this one will find where an image is also to be found elsewhere on t'interweb: http://www.tineye.com/0 -
Me too.
Though if either of lydia's children decide they want to be superted, I do have a costume (including a bear hat thing with ears and some bear paw mitts) that I made. It was one of the few things I requested custody of - after all it was handmade by MY hands!
I minor comedic moment in my grandad dieing in hospital was my grandmother (Alzheimer's) walking arou d the ward in a bear outfit. A big fur coat, hat and huge mittens with claws on. My aunt was furious. But I thought it was brilliant.0 -

And....
This reminds me of the sort of conversations I have with ms chewmylegoff:
Why don't you talk to me instead of your internet friends?

I'm sure there are others, and probably better ones, but those are the ones I've used - I've found them to be pretty good. I don't usually share my trade secrets though :rotfl:0 -
I've looked at Hamish's graphs three times and each time they made me laugh out loud. I am now laughing at this message. I think it's time to go to bed.0
