Several feet deep in the crypt

The crypt often has water in it. It is just higher. The statue reflects in the water . Designed that way and it is lovely (usually).0 -

No wonder they had to install those extra mahoosive beams to hang the chandeliers fromI think....0 -
Poop.
Just looked out and our dodgiest barn roof has indeed got some corrugated iron flapping on it now.0 -

I tried to pm you earlier too but michaels has obviously got there first. No room.
Sadly no NP men tempted. Think the feeding it to the dog option is looking favourite. Inbox has space now.0 -

When I was 14 there was a knock at the door, mum answered, it was a florist - for me. I was still in bed, it was a bouquet. My first/only bouquet of flowers.
Read the card and they were from "the fat boy at the swimming club". So not interested.
Well I admire the boy for having approached the young pastures. If you were anywhere near as sharp then as you are now, the boy had guts.
He probably lost the puppy fat, the swimming paid off and he had a fab body, and his optimistic brave disposition meant everyone was glad for him when he made his first million.0 -

I agree. Especially when they say its for safety in case there is a lose wire - I'm getting a professional to do these switches, so there shouldn't be any lose wires.
The funniest conversation.
Electrician (E): this two way wire isn't right, they should have used a 4 wire cable and cut the earth one off.
me: So they needed 3 wires and used a 3 wire cable?
E: yes, but that is wrong as they've used the earth as a live
me: So they have used a 3 wire cable for something that needs 3 wires?
E: yes, but the correct way is to use a 4 wire cable and cut off the one you don't need
me: Leaving 3 wires to use?
E: yes, but one of the wires is now the wrong colour
me: and that makes a difference because....
me: so do you want to replace the cable
E: no it would be too messy, I just wanted you to know.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Someone has been MSE and stolen a bunch of roses from the windscreen of OH's car (I'm not working today, but popped into London when I knew she'd be busy to put them there)
She said she saw them, but they disappeared before she had time to go out :mad::mad:
Anyway, happy Valentines everyone

For you Spirit I would have been able to overcome my dislike of cod...but still wouldn't have been able to make it as DW would have murdered me had I even suggested it.....I think....0 -

The wire has an outer insulation sheath and then the live and neutral have inner red and black insulation around the copper core whereas the earth is a copper wire with no other insulation and hence should not really be used for carrying current and using an earth for this purpose could also cause confusion as wire with no insultaion = earth is generally recognised. You can buy 3 core all insulated cable for 2 way switches rather than using 4 core and not using the earth.I think....0
