I almost give up. There is some magic key I am missing here. What is the secret to how open reach and sse manage to get anything done and remain operational?????? There is crazy buisiness going on here?

I'm ranting, its ok.


Sse are meant to be bringing in our upgraded electrics. The date has been messed around. Its been definitely this week until yesterday, then today when it definitely wasn't till the first guy turned up, then wasn't again, then MIght be, wasn't, now is. But they have forgotten they are trenching for open reach too and want to mole. I'm trying to get hold of open reach to see if they can mole separately or not. Person I normally deal with is away and I'm back to the 'we're not a public facing company, we won,t deal with you' responses.

Meh, bleep to open reach, I've told sse to just mole it. Might be the wrong call, but it gets that part done. The rest is open reaches responsibility and at least doesn't slow down other works!

Pink whistley heard the word mole and shot out to see what is happening and is now sitting on the roof screaming at them to work harder. Its good to have back up.

It's tricky doing that when your companion's not interested/annoyed that you want to stop and take some pics - and when it's indoors - and when there are others milling around and you don't want them in the photo - and you can't take too many/many angles else you look like a strange obsessed loon, so you're trying to do it from a position of stealth.

I was about to say that of course that couldn't be the real car as it was destroyd by a train a few years ago when I remembered I'm being stupid and looking at time as an arrow, the real car could always have travelled forward before it was destroyed to now (or the now that was when PN took those photos) and then travelled back again to get destroyed in the last movie.....

Just did that for our first house and learned it's worth five times what we bought it for. Mind you our current house is worth over 100k more than what we bought it for nine years ago.

BTTF was good but I liked the first three Alien movies. Each one was a different decade, and it really showed!
I also enjoyed the Indiana Jones movies

Including the fourth one nobody else seems to like.

I've also enjoyed the French Three Colours trilogy even though it's subtitled
BUt best of all, Lord Of The Rings!

What it means is you can MEW, put down a chunky deposit and outbid some poor FTB who has restricted access to mortgage funds due to a slim deposit as the result of high rents and set yourself up as a BTL landlord with the mortgage paid for you (courtesy of those same high rents) and all the capital appreciation funding your retirement (in your dreams, in fact it will go to the deposit fund you will have to gift the DKs because evil landlords have pushed up property prices to the extent that they can't get on the ladder without the help of the Bank of Mum and Dad).
