Am I the only Back to the Future fan?
Toy Story was good, but BTTF was the best ever
No, I am a Back to the Future fan. I also like sister act... but that is something I keep quietly to myself. I admire toy story but didn't actually enjoy it very much. It's a taste thing.
My dad prefers Indianna Jones and the Lost Sequel.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I'm struggling to think of many films I like, which is weird. I like films.
I'm not a fan of animation in general. I do really like this film but its somewhat old and people look at one blankly. But it is a children's film,

Last night was a disaster diet-wise. DW and I had an evening out whilst the kids looked after MIL. I have a 50% off Taste Card, so we went to the local Indian Veggie restaurant with a buffet. I ate far too much, of course, whilst DW said "This wouldn't have been my first choice, or even my second..."
She was right of course, as it's about the unhealthiest we have eaten for a very long time. Even fishing the vegetables out of the curry dishes, they are all pretty much cooked to a mush. Plus, there's loads of sugar and oil added. Mind you, I love the spices!
I think you have to be allowed to do this occasionally. Food is more than just fuel, & the pleasures of eating need to be met too.
I try to limit myself to 1 takeaway a month. I might have something like a pizza after a night out/concert, as I don't want to be cooking regularly at 11pm or later.
Diet means balanced. Occasionally, that means you're entitled to eat fatty foods etc. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

My favourite film ever, is Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead.

This site will tell you sold prices.
http://www.ourproperty.co.uk/
You may have to join, but I use it to look at previous selling prices along with the land registry to work out current property values.
Thanks sss
I already know the previous time it sold (rightmove and zoopla, as well as land registry/ the deeds) - it was pre-2000 for an amount I try not to dwell on as I paid a CONSIDERABLE amount more for it. It looks like it was for sale in Dec 2012, but didn't sell (there are only external pics and the garden was very overgrown, so I'm guessing that the students didn't keep the inside particularly spick and span either ). I was just curious as to how much it had been on sale for.
Will ask my friendly next door neighbours next time I see them, and if they don't know I might do as michaels suggests and ask the estate agent. That is if I can't find out any other way though - not keen to speak to an estate agent unless I really need to!
(no offence to any estate agents who might be lurking)0 -

You didn't have to reply at all if you didn't want to - I wouldn't have minded
I did a stint in a similar lab about 10 years ago (6 months, just before I started my MSc). I quite enjoyed it for the time that I was there (I was the only technician that got asked to stay behind to help the clerical staff, much nicer than sample handling!), there were some 'interesting' personalities though!
I think labs are just as bad/ good as offices when it comes to unpleasant behaviour - it's the people, and they are in all walks of life.0 -
I just saw this on freecycle - sounds scrummy!
"OFFER: 36 bags wormy topsoil (Mackeson Rd NW3)"No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

In that case, put your full address, with for sale after it, in google and it will usually bring up any old adverts for that property, even if they aren't currently on the seller's site.0 -

I saw the car the other month - took some photos. It's tricky doing that when your companion's not interested/annoyed that you want to stop and take some pics - and when it's indoors - and when there are others milling around and you don't want them in the photo - and you can't take too many/many angles else you look like a strange obsessed loon, so you're trying to do it from a position of stealth.
