The electricity people sent an email saying they may or may not come today now, because of weather.

I'm preparing for them coming just in case.....

Dog dog , like viva and doozer, wanted to stay in bed this morning. She is NOT an early bird, and has the body clock of a teenage boy. We've got to head out again in a minute to do birds and I'm hope she does more than stand shake and sulk, sounds from weather like it could be the last dry moment for a few days, and she hates rain.

Do you mean Lydia and Doozer? I'm actually awake for a change today. Not particularly a morning person though.

Hope L&D feel better later today and manage to get a bit of kip.

And I don't know whether these people are coming or not.....my dishwasher programme takes hours, but I might as well whack in on, it will finish or not, right? :)

Another one here who didn't have a good night. I somehow hurt my hip yesterday, no idea what I did to make it hurt but hurt it blooming did!

So it made for a rather uncomfortable night despite my painkillers.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I had a strategy presentation today. I spent it working out whether the total quantity of corporate BS being spouted is increasing or my tolerance for it has decreased. I guess the latter. I do know that 70 people in a room for 40 minutes is about 1 week of work.

We had a cool change come through this afternoon which is a relief. I've been waking up hot in the night although I suspect some is me stressing. It's going to be nice and cool for the rest of the week before it hits up again at the weekend. Mrs Generali's back doing her exams so I'll be at a loose end with the kids. I can hear the beach calling. We might go somewhere with a BBQ and buy some sausages or steaks to grill.

So...electric people aren't coming. Their truck won't start,

They won't commit to whether it may or may not start tomorrow, and I'm trying to explain to SSE that their work impacts on a site meeting here with architect and heating engineer going ahead or not, because....the ankle bone is after all connected to the leg bone. Unfortunately it appears the head bone is rather unyielding to information uptake or communication.

Plumber put old radiators at the end of the drive yesterday, with the prophecy that they will be gone by morning. They are still there.

It's the Soaraway British Economy. Radiators go unstolen in the streets.

Never mind, there'll be a Romanian along soon. You'll just have to wait a few weeks for one to migrate.

The mistake was putting them in the streets. If he'd left them in the house with the door open then they'd have gone.

What decent hard working thief wants discards when they can get brand new?

The the fruit is arranged prettily and something like a fancy glass of rosemary water (one of my favourite drinks but not usually in one of the fancy glasses) is brought too......

A flower on the tray and a big kiss and , something soppy like, 'sweet fruits for my birdy to nibble' or with some fruits a rude little whisper and then he disappeared off to fry himself some bread :rotfl:

Where's that vomit smiley again? ;)
Sometimes you can't beat someone doing something just for you, or doing something just for someone else.
