Shall do.
Apparently the Aboriginal way is to wait for it to start to come apart and then attack it.0 -
Based on where both of my teenagers seem to have their hands most of the time, it would appear that they are teaching themselves
You know, if they ever find out you posted that it will take a mortgage to pay the psychologists fees.;)“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Be careful, Gen. Everything we hear about Australia suggests that the continent wants all humans dead as quickly as possible!
Reminds me of this Onion article!

I leave it to your judgement as to its prettiness.
You can take it if you're not in a National Park. This tree is about 300yds up the road from a National Park so I'm free to take it I guess. Strictly speaking it probably belongs to the council but there would be no repercussions.
In the National Parks the rule is often summed up as take nothing but photos, leave nothing but footprints.
I have that phrase on a cushion on my sofa.
Can we have some kind of scaling item next to your 'pine cone'? I can't work out the size!
We have big snow here. Big, substantial, fluttering flakes. Not settling though, which suits me.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I dunno. If its fair, its fair.
DH recalls a story about his mother and her commenting on a certain thing that happens to boys that's beyond their control. It could have been excruciating but he recounts it as her comment being humorous, and distilnctlY ego boosting and made him aware he needed to find a better way to address the um......ok I cannot finish this sentence.
I understand my late mil was a woman of immense tact and humour though, never raised her soft voice (oh for the self control!) and was described as looking like a fra Angelico painting. ( in other descriptions she was secretive, neurotic and controlling:D.....eyes of be holders?) :rotfl:0 -

That's one of my fave quotes from a pretty impressive site.
Reminds me of reading somewhere about it must have been a brave hungry person who first ate blue cheese. And I have always wondered how people found you could east kidney beans safely after you've boiled them mad first. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

not only do we have mother-in-law staying with us at the moment, but we also have mother-in-law's mutt. We needed some stuff from local shops, so I took the mutt with me for a walk. She did not appreciate being tied up in the rain outside the shops, and I do not think she has forgiven me yet!No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

That usually means its going to be cold!
We have a sure sign that it is going to be freezing overnight, when the gritting lorry comes down our road. They do not usually bother with us, so when they do it means it is going to be properly frizz! No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
