Oh. That makes a bit more sense.
For next time, there are usually vouchers knocking around for free checks. Not quite as good, but better than paying. And less stressful
Still agree you should go to the Drs. It's all very well being able to rationalise why it happened, but the Dr might have an explanation you haven't thought of.0 -
On the telly - Aberystwyth - big storm surge expected this weekend. A lot of the houses along the front are student houses - and they've been offered the train fare home if they want to spend the weekend with their parents.

I'd have taken that up in a second... free roast meal, and your laundry done for you by mum...“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I occasionally used to splurge on a good Hotel (once in a while) when I was doing a lot of travelling. This one's the most expensive I've stayed in, but was worth every penny for the experience. I got a good deal as I stayed there just after 9/11

A cheap room is now £500 a night!
Poshest and nicest has to be 'The Thief' in Oslo. Despite the name, just checked, and cheapest room is £300 a night
The nicest hotel at a reasonable rate is probably Hotel Victoria (Minsk), which in fairness had just been renovated when we stayed there.

I think you should. The eye clinic will be thorough, but probably only check those things related to your symptoms.
And eye tests are important because they can find cancer, and diabetes, and all kind of other things.
Edit: I have a question. If you thank a post, and the user deletes it, does the thank still count in your "Thanked XX,XXX" statistic?
Yes- this was mentioned a few days back, when I mentioned I'd posted ages ago in deleted threads, so I've got more thanked posts than posts you can still read. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

No, they do a sight test too,( they told me my vision was perfect) but don't know about the rest. Hmm.
I used to be long sighted , only a bit, then I did eye exercises (cost of glasses ) and then was not long sighted any more,0 -
Hm, in that case I'd phone up the eye clinic and ask the receptionist there her advice. There's a standard list of tests and if they included sight tests I'd think they had done them all.

I didn't do rural sciences at University. I did one that keeps you dry and warm sitting down in an office all day. That's the reason I need to diet all the time:D“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”
