I didn't do rural sciences at University. I did one that keeps you dry and warm sitting down in an office all day. That's the reason I need to diet all the time:D

The kiwi wants to empty septic tanks for a job. He thought it was amazing fun. He keeps going over to the door, then running out to the tank saying, 'lets do that again'.

I suppose it smells ' better ' than the poop we usually deal with! ( wish "rural science ' worked as a diet for me......)

I've never heard of rural science.

I'm very limited in my knowledge of jobs, qualifications, what people do, what's available, what jobs there are, where, who does that sort of thing.

Short msg on phone tesco car. Park. Passed out in opticians mid test. Feeling OK but shakey from shock/horror

Unless you know what made you pass out, PN, I hope you will be seeking medical help. It's one thing to pass out at the opticians (which incidentally must have been quite a shock/horror for them as well), but next time you could be driving or crossing the road.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I'd say Rural Science is something like agricultural.

I can't think of a course offered in UK from the top of my head, although 2 of my universities (Moscow State/Tbilisi State) both offered agri degrees.

I don't stay in hotels. When I relocated a few years back I chose to book into a hotel to live in until I could graduate to a shared house..... I got a bit lucky... the decor was definitely 1980s (not decorated since) and the shower room was really old and orange - and the shower was really quite manky, but a good size... and it was en-suite. I got put into a family room, not a single, so I had a big attic room.

Bed and cooked breakfast £20/night :)

I did take some photos of the carpet/wallpaper... might see if I can dig those out.

    £20/night?! Posh alert!!

I stayed in the travelodge in the M6 services at knutsford for about £14 a while back.

    Ditto.
I'm really trying currently to reduce portion sizes. It isn't going too bad actually. I'm not ravenous when I finish meals. I've found that actually I used to be a bit greedy!:o
Interestingly, it has reduced my snacking a little.

I don't mind eye tests. Annoying more than anything. I get annoyed at the cost of glasses  then the additional cost of the lenses :eek: then numerous additional opticians taxes:mad:
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

So, you may recall I did an online quote on upgrading my £500 car to a £15000 car.
Well, I had self doubt, so I rang them with my policy number to check I hadn't made a mistake.
They gave me a quote, that for the remaining 6 months of my policy, if I changed cars, I'd need to pay an extra.........£8.20!

    Bizarre! (confused smiley)

Think the most expensive would be either the Disneyland Hotel in Paris, or the one I stayed in on a business trip to Copenhagen, sadly can't remember the name of that one but it cost the company nearly £450 for 2 nights back in 1989.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I just renewed, ran the quote through a couple of comparison websites and direct with the cheapest company they showed (for cashback reasons) and the same quote for the same company even done directly with the company varied by 50 quid (18%) over a 4 day period....
    I think....
