Maybe just less shampoo, and more soap?

OH just got back from his dinner, and is drinking postprandial camomile tea. He said my hair smells lovely, so he's in my good books (-:

He can't help calling it snake oil, though, but we all have our foibles....

I seem to remember reading that some factory that made various cleansing products used the same detergent as washing up liquid but added more salt in the pipes to avoid irritating your eyes and skin.
Kids don't try this at home :naughty:

Do you always dye it the same colour, or change about as you fancy? What's your natural colour?

    :

I stick to a fairly narrow range of colour, nothing eek, more to cover grey. I haven't always dyed my hair, I went through a mad time when I was younger but then didn't dye it for about 20 years until the grey got really bad and then vanity stepped in :rotfl:

Natural colour is brown with ginger flecks in it with more copper flecks in the summer. Up until the age of 5, I was blonde!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

My Dad always insisted that washing up liquid and shampoo were the same thing, so we often used Fairy Liquid on our heads.

P.S. I still have to wash my hair, so it hasn't all fallen out due to earlier mistreatment.

the single most important cancer test is testicular self examination, which no one teaches young men how to do.

Based on where both of my teenagers seem to have their hands most of the time, it would appear that they are teaching themselves

My good little geese came in by themselves tonight (they often need herding in).

That usually means its going to be cold!

We were wrong. Its mild here, we are wrapped in a thick duvet of greyness and its quit mild as a result. But grim.

Sydney...scorchio! I went and lay under a tree for half an hour at lunchtime and watched the world go by while listening to a podcast. No more falling pine cones either.

I went to see the thing that fell out of the tree and picked it up. It's a lot more than 4-5lbs. More like a stone!

What's the law on keeping thinks like that? Are you allowed to take it home? Is it pretty?

We have lots of birds nests that DH has 'rescued' from bramble clearing etc.

    I had a prostate exam once.Interesting experience.

On a truckers froum I loiter in, one of the regular posters had prostate cancer after ignoring symptoms and putting off going to the docs. Eventually it wnet into his bones. Lovely chap, never lost his sense of humour, including the day he had to attend the job centre in a wheelchair, hooked up to a morphine drip with a Mac nurse in tow, to explain to a 16 year old why he hadn't been looking for work:rotfl:.

I'd have to look at very old photos to remember what my hair colour was, I know there is a lot of grey lurking under the dye now!

I leave it to your judgement as to its prettiness.

You can take it if you're not in a National Park. This tree is about 300yds up the road from a National Park so I'm free to take it I guess. Strictly speaking it probably belongs to the council but there would be no repercussions.

In the National Parks the rule is often summed up as take nothing but photos, leave nothing but footprints.

Apparently the thing is edible. I'm going to grab one tomorrow and get myself some bush tucker. It'll be my first solo forage in Australia!
