I do wonder what happens if you get to the top and can't find anywhere to park?

    You turn into a pumpkin.

Sometimes you can go in through Kings and over the cut through to Queens at level 1. Often find spaces in the outside area before you get to Queens. (Though if the cut through is shut, you are then stuck in Kings.)

That's the way we went in today!
    You turn into a pumpkin.

This has happened to us before. You press the button and tell them, they let you out. If they didn't, you'd have a queue behind you while you sat in the car in protest.

    Thankfully no pumpkins were harmed.

We went to the Harlequin Centre in Watford today. Parking was atrocious.

DH says that after he has retired, for fun and to wind people up a bit, he is going to wrap up a couple of shoe boxes, put them in big carrier bags and walk around the car park very slowly pretending to be going back to his car.

I don't like carrying shopping around with me for various reasons including that I have a knack of leaving the bags in changing rooms and losing the lot, so I tend to pop back to the car occassionally when I'm at shopping centres to dump the shopping in the boot. It really does get people excited. I also often get fed up and go and sit in the car waiting for OH to finish which gets people even more excited!

If I knew there was a £5 deal I might have tried one .... but as I don't spend money - and as when I've looked PH are expensive - I'd have never seen/noticed that.

I generally dismiss offers/deals as the small print usually catches you out. e.g. £5 if you buy it between 5pm and 6pm on a Wednesday and if you buy 2 and pick it up wearing a parrot on your shoulder.

    It's a choice of 5 pizzas £5 each, 11" Mon-Friday, here's the linky. :)

I haven't seen MissKool for quite a while. Is she okay? She normally locks the old threads.

I feel so bad. We've just left Doozerdog at dog prison. I'm traumatised with guilt. :(

So the "eminent" surgeon that did that "fantastic new procedure" that may have given Dad a few more years, has been removed from post. Removed after investigations showed that the deaths of some of his patients were avoidable.

Was his death avoidable? Who knows? I do know that we were cautious in agreeing to this being done and had we known this guys record we would have decided not to risk him doing it.

Of course we will never know if it would have worked better if someone else had done it and how long that would have given him.

To complicate things the helpline asks if I am next of kin; I'm not, but if the next of kin hasn't watched the news today, I don't want to worry her. But I do want some answers.

Oh silvercar, that's horrible. Is this how you found out?

You have to give them all sorts of information before you can get to the menu/list .. you have to go part-way through the online ordering ... don't like that.

I'm going through, but you immediately lose the £5 deal information - and are dumped into their full menu.... all nervous and unsure.

Poking around, there's no sign of a £5 pizza. They don't tell you at the start what's included.... so you stand no chance of tracking it down from the full menu.

Ah - started again and spotted a link.
"Choose from any of our favourite five 11” Italian Pizzas, Hawaiian, Pepperoni Feast, Vegetable Supreme, Margherita or Meat Feast. Minimum delivery spend applies. Not valid with any other deal or offer."

Or, for £4, I can collect one from Asda :)
