fc I wished I'd known you were here!
PS web site is very impressive, though I'm currently getting some very funny looks....It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

In the first programme, I couldn't help but think of lir as there were several fleeting shots of bird lamps.
Anyone else watching?
I will try and see that on catch up at some point.
I loved working there years ago as a Saturday girl....1984 I think.
The TK Maxx Dispatches is good.......all about the fake discounted stuff ...and yes, I have insider knowledgeso knew all about it....all the outlets work the same way. 90% of product that goes in the sales is made for the sales and the other 10% is what nobody wanted at full price.

I wondered if you'd beat me to it...;)
Why not? Are you suggesting dogs are of lesser value? Big dog weighs not much less than dh, is taller than him. and has back/ neck pain...why would her bed be lesser?
( DH and I have never actually had a new bed!)0 -

Scooby dog beds :rotfl:
( I used to used street outlet a fair bit, I bought what I knew 'high street' prices were and only what I'd buy anyway) its not a good now. Swindon is rubbish. The one ove in Oxfordshire with designer shops was small but good.0 -

I think you get that with any iconic place, retail or otherwise. Most of the people come across as really interesting. Was Felix the customer Felix Dennis? He looked familiar. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? :rotfl: trumped!
I've only been into Liberty's once, and it was magical. It felt like being in Harry Potter. Which reminds me, I have a gift voucher (well, gift coin) which needs spending.
In fairness, it would be difficult to beat my beds as they came free with the house (or does that make them the most expensive?). Luckily the three that are upstairs are ok (no complaints from guests so far anyway), and the one in the dining room (was used as a 4th bedroom as was a student house) will be the first to go on freecycle.0 -

I saw some of the second one. I liked it but thought 'sheesh' as the guy was pushing prices up. I love liberty. Its a real shop. Its varied, the people are mixed and authentic even the fake ones iykwim. If I could only go in one shop ever again in might be that one. ( though not sure what scenario that would be)0 -

I missed that. Is it still on catch up? C4?
I think TK Maxx was better when it had fewer stores. It was easier to spot the bargains and they weren't as full of garbage as now. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? yup. 4OD it was shown a couple of nights ago.
There is chat about it in my trade paper website but can't link as subscriber only. The problem TK Maxx now has is there are so many more avenues to clear stock / cancelled orders / overmake now plus their buyers are 'hard' and push the price right down so many suppliers now use them as last resort once the 'cream' has been sold off to other places, mostly online.
There are still deals to be had in there and genuine good quality stuff sold at a good reduction but it is hard to find amongst the filler.0
