A house I dismissed last year (wrong orientation, didn't like the pathway behind it, knew I'd have to rip out the warm air heating system) ... sold for £193k... and now I wish I'd bought it as all those things are true, but it's in the "perfect spot"...... *sigh*. So tough deciding.... and hindsight is better than the decisions I make in the moment.

I don't know enough of the rest of the coast to fully compare, but I can see what he means.
I think the west coast of Scotland above Oban can give Cornwall a run for its money - though on climate Cornwall wins! The only bit of coast I don't know is the pointy bit of the Welsh coast round Fishguard/Haverfordwest and the NW of Scotland, the flat bit from Thurso to Cape Wrath and a little bit down.:)0 -
Trying to contact agents is a pain in the butt.
First one - phone system said it was diverting me, then went silent. Finally got through to them on 2nd attempt.
Second one: connected, she couldn't hear me. Now trying to phone them again and "network signal not available"..... grrrr
And I've tried emailing agents before and they never get back to you, then deny they ever had any response through the rightmove system as "they don't use that" ... and somebody's supposed to log into it and transfer messages onto their in-house systems.0 -
Second house identified has got tenants in it until July. A very high proportion of them round here seem to be tenanted... it's like the world and his dog are offloading BTLs. Annoying - but they should at least put that in the s0ddin' details online!!!0

If I had had girls not boys, for the coming out dress I would be saying "you look amazing"; but the black one would make me say "I think you need to cover up a little".
In retrospect, maybe it depends whether the daughter is 14, 18 or 22.
I'm pretty sure than no 14 year old should wear it - well, either of them! Not because they wouldn't look good, though. Perhaps precisely because, with the right figure, they'd look far too sexy....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I'm not sure if it is getting old or having daughters but I find myself looking at all FC's dresses and thinking they look a bit short:eek:

I did say you should unlock your phone and choose a network that has signal there....I think....0 -

I am still not convinced the agent didn't lie... I asked him (to check) if the house had two outside walls or three.... he confirmed three, making it a terrace (not a cluster). Looking at the floorplan there are only windows on 2 sides....
Why can't agents simply describe houses properly, clearly?0 -
