You do have a better chance with records than OH does, though....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

e.g. "List everybody in a half mile area with a particular surname in 1911 who was the right age by 14 years later to have fathered a child .... then compare any names with all passenger lists from 1924-1926 to see where they went. Mind you, at least at that point I'd have a shortlist of potential full names.
Then .... do all the family trees down from the 1911 family - to find existing/current people, to see if any of them are aware of this bloke in their distant tree that went abroad.0 -
If I ever won the lottery, a couple of million, say, I'd definitely employ a full-time family researcher to find the entire family history ...... up and down the lines .... and share all the information freely with everybody in those lines.0

Sometimes you can go in through Kings and over the cut through to Queens at level 1. Often find spaces in the outside area before you get to Queens. (Though if the cut through is shut, you are then stuck in Kings.)
