Well the day is here, and no doubt those with excited kids have been up for hours. I'm sneaking downstairs and wrapping one of DH's presents which I've realised is still sitting in an Amazon box.
Merry Christmas everyone. I hope Father Christmas brings you everything you need this year, be that presents, a lovely day with friends and family, or peace of mind remembering those you love who won't be here this year, or something that is special and unique to you.

I know I can be tight sometimes, so was pleasantly pleased to get a score of 44%.
64% tight!
But I always stand my round and never play things that are gifts for others.....but I have been known to re use tea bags when money is tight. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

I think my parents are working up to making our house that house... Will try and get a pics tomorrow (have already popped to the garage in my obedient tonight, not doing it again
) It'll take a few years, but another illuminated Dec was purchased this eve... As well as our traditional yellow sticker turkey for next year (£84  down to £21. Wonder if that beat Michaels?
)
I got a dressed lobster down from £10 to £1.99 yesterday in Morrisons. In fact, I got a total of £45 worth of meat and fish for less than £10.
M&S had their fresh turkeys down from £36 to £12, not that I got one as mum and dad had already got the turkey.
I was well chuffed, two Sunday roasts covered (lamb down from £8 odd to £1.79 and pork down from £5 odd to 99p) plus lots of other meals...and even a 3 fish roast (down from £6 to £1.49) for James to take back to uni.We made it! Merry Christmas everyone!
Boys are still asleep, what a change from a few years ago when they would be jumping on the bed at silly o clock. We will be making our move down to my parent's house in about an hour when the fun really starts, at the moment, it is a haven of tranquility for me.
Didn't get to bed until very late this morning as I had to cook the mince pies (all 91 of them!) and wrap the presents and my back is complaining today.
Let the fun begin! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. I was asked to choose a telly programme, then didn't get to choose one and was left with the Gruffalo on.... she then left the room and I changed channels, so she came back in and has selected Bing Crosby's White Cristmas and put it on the CD, drowning out the telly I'd selected... and she then left and has gone upstairs.
Why do some people go out of their way to spoil what you're doing? And to give the illusion you've got and made choices.... but have stomped on those.
Personally, I'd take a pair of scissors to the CD. Then again I am known as a grumpy beggur.0 -

My mum does that regardless of whether money is tight or not. And she's not even my Scottish part!
Sounds like you and the boys had a great haul yesterday Sue. Hope you're all having a wonderful day today x0 -
I have a cold beginning I think.
. Keep falling asleep .....
One of the cats got into the carrier bag of big dog's pills and took an overdose (palatable pills......whose crazy idea was that? ) but she is fine....(phew)
Bird is in the oven, I am way ahead of veg prep in spite of drifting off all the time. .....
We were an ing to watch whatever film they put on......then checked the film directory today and its somewhat bleak so we're planning to curl up and read a book together instead.
All in all, ok day.
Oh, re tea bags....I am definitely reusing mine,,...DH got me some peach tea bags from f and m for Christmas in my search for nice drinks I can have ATM. They are DELICIOUS. But rather strong. They are easily making two cups. Its my new favourite.. Summer memories in a cup. I don't like my drinks sweet generally but have put a ghost, just a whisper of coconut sugar in it.
.
I also got some lipstick I was dithering over and some fantastic cookery books, my favourite one is a beautiful preserving one. I'll me begging my quince and medlar to settle in well now and perform in not too many years. I adore quinces but stick to the same recipes because they are so precious .....now I'm greedy to make so much more.........0
