Selling your stuff on EBID. advice for new sellers

I ain't got no Ebid action at the moment anyhow. Although I haven't listed or relisted for ages now. I ain't got a flippin' spare minute for it! Where does the time go? Must get down to it: I've probably got about 10 items listed left.

Just bumping as there is another new site that is setting up and again I can't see what they are offering that ebid can't offer.

Hi There probably is already a thread about this around. But I cant find it. Just wondered about those who list on ebid. Its advantages and disadvantages.

I'm just looking at it wondered if its worth trying. I'm finding ebay a bit slow at present. My amazon sales are doing really well but ebay is just dead at the moment.

So if people could tell me what they think of ebid I would be grateful

The only off putting is the sign up fee but if you list enough in the long run then it is worth it.

It looks like you can sell without a subscription? Or is that too limited?

I listed on ebid for 5 years with not one single sale, however others do very well so I'll find the ebid thread and merge this as I know some of the big ebid sellers have the thread bookmarked and can help you with more specific questions.

Haven't we had this convo already, you're quite the poster I guess the main difference is that on grabthatonline.co.uk it's free to list. So you dont pay anything unless it sells. Which in my book is pretty good as there is no outlay (or do ebid offer that?) I checked out their site and go thte impression you have to pay £50 to sign up. To be fair, ive only listed stuff the other day on grab that and havent had much of an audiance however there isnt much of an audicance at the moment, hopefully with the free lsiting it brings sellers in which turn out to be buyers too. i had a similar problem with a buyer (from gumtree) wanting me to send the product before him paying me. it was a fraudster. he sent me a paypal email which looked similar to ones that paypal send out however the wording was all wrong. so look out for these and never send the products before payment has been received. i work in a fraud prevention department so luckily i am a little clued on when it comes to this.
