You are probably best asking on the ebid forums, they suggest things like setting up a face book group and placing 'gentle' ads on user groups that permit adverts. You do need to be quite pro active though, the regulars will have very little sympathy for you unless you are prepared to do quite a lot of personal advertising.

I built up quite a bit of feedback from buying, I know it seems bad of me but I do watch for new sellers listing at 99p on an auction and buy stuff to resell. I have no seller feedback though as I never managed to sell anything in all the fiive years I was actively selling.

I'll be back on in a month or so. All my listings have expired (the ones that didn't sell anyway) and I've been mad busy. Am going to have a right old re-list and new-list though.

Ebay's for the birds now, I have to list twice as much for half the sales as this time last year (and bumped up fees too).

If it helps any, I too am "no longer a registered user" on feepay! (2 accounts both 100% + FB). I refuse to buy or sell on that site now.
When I am looking to buy anything, I will always give eBid first crack of the whip. I don't sell on there - yet - but still offer support as a buyer.

I'd like to suggest that you list them as auctions with a BIN option alonside but have the auctions auto-reposting for items that get no bids, that way your stuff has a far better chance of the listing appearing front page of the site in the 'new auctions' section. I can't remember the exact dates or time, but they'll also be updated in the Google indexing, which has been a great help with book sales.

Good luck with sales, I'm still convinced that if it's a bargain, someone will buy it. :)

I know what you mean, I've done the facebook group (apx 100 members), i went and bought a domain name when I was trading on ebay so have just re-directed that, i've also set up links in my signatures as well on other forums, but i am also reluctant to really push on the advertising front whilst I still have loads of items left to list

    Hi everyone,
Sorry if I am asking something you've already been asked. I am considering selling on eBid and/or iBootsale and I was wondering, do you have to accept Paypal? I cannot get and do not want an account after what happened to me on eBay which is why I'm here. Can I request cheque/postal order/BACS/recorded delivery cash only? Thanks in advance for any help offered.

With eBid, you can use any payment processor you wish :T Google Checkout, PPPay & PayPal are integrated into the eBid checkout/invoice system. I also offer NOCHEX, MoneyBookers, BACS, Cheque & Postal Order.

    You can auto-repost upto 10 times. I generally use 10 days x 10 auto-reposts which = 3 months (well, just over :D )

But you also have the option of 'Run Til Sold' / 'on 1st Bid' which means just about forever - but those listings slip to the bottom of the category and searches beneath the shorter term e.g. 7 / 10 day listings.
