WELL DONE VENTURARED - you must be selling something that's a real bargain - any clues? I'm always on the lookout for bargainsI reserve the right not to spend.

I sell large household items eg, washing machines tumble dryers etc. Like wigglebeena i to can afford to lower my prices and still make more than feebay. Again i self promote - every email i send has my signature set to an ebid logo that goes straight to our shop. I use exactly the same logo etc as my ebid shop and the same name. in fact when you type the user name in on google both links for my feebay store and ebid store come up. I'm now out 21 sales and £4000+ but i would say of that 4 have been ebay questions that i have replied to via outlook and answered the question correctly (so not to get in any trouble) but the signature is always the same. I was thinking of going one step further and actually setting the link so it will always lead the customer to the the ebid version of the item they want.
Like many people have said in these posts it does requrie a bit of work but i have found it enjoyable and rewarding.0 -
Just a quick query.
When I signed up to Ebid I did so as a normal user. When I went into my profile the other day I noticed that I could change to be a business user - now I am a very small hobby seller really, but strictly speaking I am a business as I do purchase in order to sell on and when I was actiively using Ebay I registered there as a business
So my query is should I click on the business option and if so does it have any repercussions on Ebid?
Thanks in advanceAMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0033 come and join us :j make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the ebay and other auctions, car boot and jumble sales board0 -
I set my ebid shop up exactly the same way as feebay eg business account. There was no real stand out reason other than i was trying to recreate what i had on ebay on ebid. I have done everyting exactly the same from logos to listing layout. I haven't noticed any repercussions other than maybe having to fill in a couple of extra things.0

Thanks Venturared7,
I expect I probably missed the option when I first registered. No reason for me not to be registered as a business really - I shall go and make the change. :beer:AMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0033 come and join us :j make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the ebay and other auctions, car boot and jumble sales board0 -

Hi all,
I wanted to list some books on EBID but notice that you have to use the books BIN numbers. What are these and where do I find them???
All help greatly appreciated.:smileyheaMagenta0 -
If you mean the ISBN then they are usually found on the rear of books near the barcode, otherwise on the page with all the publishers info on inside.
I just list my books the standard way and don't use the prefilled option.
Best of luck

I already sell my books on Amazon so I know what the ISBN is.
It is the BIN code that I am interested in.:smileyheaMagenta0 -
I'm considering setting up an ebid shop for my business items.. I was going to do it on ebay once I've run out of personal things to sell.. but reading this thread has made me think.. So..
Do shops work as well on ebid?
Is it worth buying the maximum subscription first off? (Having issues with my bank, am in the process of changing banks, but don't currently have a switch card to pay the monthly/weekly charges - do have paypal funds though)
As far as I can tell, there are no listing charges, nothing for BIN (wouldn't use auctions as I have fixed prices I sell things at) just final value fees?0
