I received my first parking enforcement notice on 12 sept 2012 regarding parking on August bank holiday Monday of that year
I ignored this and the final reminder notice. then got a letter on 13 April 2013 together with draft claim form that told me they were claiming total £265 which included "additional costs" but if I paid up before 24/4/2013 they would accept £150 or they intended submitting the claim form to Northampton county court
I ignored this letter too
Today (11 December 2015) letter received stating they would accept£125 in full settlement. Can they still demand this after over 3 years?
I know from ready this and other info that when my alleged offence took place this was before the ruling that the registered owner was liable and that they had to request payment from the driver at the time, and it was up to them to find out who was actually driving the car. I've been given no photographic evidence.
Can anyone help please, they want paying within 7 days this time!0 -

You should follow the advice and start your own thread - this is information thread only....
However to answer your question.
Can they still demand this after over 3 years?
Yes they have up to six years to pursue this alleged debt (England & Wales)..0 -
I have ignored a parking fine since August which was issued by excel parking, in media city Salford quays which is now £180. I revived a letter from a solicitor to say it has now been passed to them and failure to make payment may result in them passing the matter over to litigation department! Help? It's stressing me out but I definitely cannot afford that over Christmas! Do I ignore? Is there a way out? I do not have the original letter as I thew it away alls I have is this one from the solicitor.0

Please read post 29 above, especially the large, bold font - it might help! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I have had a rather long winded reply after writing to the company the exact copy off a previous thread. In their response it's saying my only option is to pay. Has anyone else had the same response or any else.
"If you choose to do nothing we will seek to recover the monies owed to us via debt recovery procedures and may proceed court action against you"
