57p for me and 2 x 50p put up for the niece and nephew's pots. Todays plan = go and buy some lovely veg and then put a simmering pot of pasta sauce with lovely veg chopped in it on the cooker and make batches for the freezer. Start radiotherapy next week (for 4 weeks, every day) and so thinking need to eat well but with minimum effort on some days.
Have a lovely day everyone. xxSPC No:118:j (6) £468.74 (7)

Hi all, a happy little 20p in the pot today.
Have a lovely weekend all. Personally I have the house all to myself tonight for first time in a long time, so its a candle lit bath, a HM chinese meal and an indulge of a good dvd whilst sat in bed. I feel like spoiling myself after a busy and hectic week

Afternoon all, hope all are well.
Sue - I used to pot 5p's and copper etc a few years ago, but hated counting them all and getting the exact amount to "weigh in".
Ironically, yet another 5p road-kill today. Proper road-kill in Ikea car park and it had been run over a few times and was very rough. It will still go into a s/scan till though. lol
Nell - wishes for the next lot of treatment.
Potted a £2 and a 50p coin = £2.50 potted.
I've had a pretty good January and sad to see it end. But, nearer to Spring I suppose.

As this is my first spc I could not resist having a count up to see how I was doing. Im amazed that since beginning of Jan I have saved £18.20 in loose change and the odd couple of quid. Glad I had a count up as it has encouraged me to do even better in February, thanks everyone for motivation. Ps I have still to find roadkill lol...SPC No. 295 - SPC No10 target £350

I bulk buy tins, toilet roll, toiletries and jars of sauce when they are on special and each time I use one I buy it back from myself with money from my monthly grocery budget, that way I always have money in a jar to buy deals when they come round and never get caught paying £2 for bolognaise sauce or £5 for toilet roll :eek:Start radiotherapy next week (for 4 weeks, every day) and so thinking need to eat well but with minimum effort on some days.
Ooo def make sure you eat well Nells, will be thinking of you over the next 4 weeks <hugs>

Hi Sue, thank you for my new star, it's twinkling away in my sig with the others now.
Nell, best of luck with the radiotherapy, we're all thinking of you. ((Hugs)).
I've just checked my cash envelopes, petrol, phone top ups and the like, and discovered £30 left from January's lot so that will be straight in the pot before DH notices. :rotfl: I'll be getting Feb's out tomorrow.
It's DH's birthday tomorrow ( poor old thing) and his sister's next Thursday. My DB's is later this month but I haven't seen him for years so it'll cost me nowt.
Welcome newbies, you'll love saving and being on here with us.
Hugs to all in need.S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50
