Morning all,
£5 banked & 90 p potted today .

£1 was still on the side this morning, so that's been potted today

Counted up my tin I put 2p,1p and 5ps in and there was £23.80. £20 changed at the bank to go in the wedding fund tin (DD gets married on 1st November) and the rest back in the tin to start again.

so fed up dd3 needs new shoes and the only money i have is in my pot so im extremely sorry sue but iv had to empty it lost all motivation

Don't give up! If you didn't have the pot you wouldn't have had the money to pay for the shoes

Can you do the "holding pot" idea where you put the money in a not-sealed pot and then transfer it to the sealed one before you get paid? Or make your Sealed Pot only for roadkill or coins under 10p; the principle is still worth trying.

Potted £1.50 I found at the bottom of my handbag this has been a very expensive month very inconsiderate of people to have birthdays all at once ;o)

no saving for couple of days. DD went off to live in US and spent a couple days packing, saying bye, hugs, chats, laughs etc. I am excited for her and will miss her heaps
