£5 in the buy back pot for some bog roll and a taco kit for tea, tis filling up nicely :D

Bit peeved as DD and DS both go to karate, was told if we re-used the badges of the old suit of DD's that her new suit would be £10, DH gives DS £20 note as thats all he had, DS hands it to the instructor who said 'yep £20 thats how much it costs' and pocketed the lot  I dont begrudge paying £20 if thats what im told it costs, but I do object to the price seemingly being set by how much money a 12 year old has in his hand at the time

  • Found you guys. I could not find the thread last week at all.

£ 20 in pot from last week from lunch money saving.

For this week I have £18 left in purse aiming to save atleast £10 from that into the pot.

DH said yesterday that he was putting some money in pot without me knowing he does not know how much he put. It's still my pot though he said that I can treat myself at end :j

So can I still count the money put in by DH for the challenge?

That's unbelievable!! - Are you going to tackle the instructor about this. Like you say, fair enough if that's the cost, but to be told £10 and then have it double seems to be taking the Michael to me!!!
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning all.

ToniLiz - that is sad about the charity pot.
was very excited when I got the £2 coin in my change - I really must get a life.

    I got 2 x £2 coins in my change last night (s/scan till) .............. and I'm saying NOWT. :D

    So potted the 2 x £2 coins and a single 20p coin = £4.20 potted.
I'll be spending a little today, so hopefully more to pot later.

    Weather is :(

Hi all, had to nip to the shop last night for a few bits we needed. Bf left his wallet at home (I'm sure he does it on purpose) so I had to use a lovely £20 crisp note from my purse.. Got a nice £5 note and some pound coins. Going to keep my notes for the weekend as its my weekend off and we are going to the fish shop to get a new fish as our little ones died last night :( So potted £3 in the pot making my new total £130.00 hopefully I will get some change over the weekend with the £50 I have left in my purse.. I've already given my £40 for aldi to my mum using my £5 off voucher but then made it back up to £40 with the things I need like toilet rolls bin bags etc that I can use for a while... BTW anyone with young children it is the baby and toddler even at aldi this week, I've got myself a big box of sz 5 nappies for £7.29 and a 4 pack of wipes for £2.49 couldnt recommend them enough they are the best I have ever used :)
