Evening all.
More newbies to join the group - welcome and good luck with your savings.
claireyfairy82 - that "fab Swedish shop with the meatballs" have some great bargains on candles - I'm stocked up for ages now. The extra 10% off sales prices helped also.
I potted 2 x £1 coins.
It's getting frosty around these parts, roll on the spring.

Hi all
Sorry I've been AWOL for a bit, had to go down to mum's as she was poorly but better now
She insisted on giving me petrol money so I've potted that along with a £2 coin and lots of change
Nell good luck with the next phase

Hello everyone
Been lurking but not logged on for a few days as nothing to report. Managed a total of 4 NSDs this week, so feeling quite proud of myself.
Potted £2.61 change from lunch when working away one day last week.
Got to keep the momentum - even if it was a tiny amount.
Trying for planned spend days next week - Monday and Friday only.
MLittle steps and great strides both get you there.0 -
Hi

Anyway as I haven't potted anything, I have put £1 in so at least it's better than nothing and I don't want to put more in then be totally skint all week! Well done to everyone who is doing well!0 -

Any suggestions would be welcome as I would really like to save on the food budget a little. If OH can't tell the difference that would be great
Try the bbc good food website there are some fab lentil recipes on there, it free to create an account too which lets you save recipes you like. I do this and have iPad mini propped up as cookbook when I'm pottering round the kitchen. Search for freezable recipes too this will help with the batch cooking. My favourite is lentil ragu, it makes a spaghetti bolognese type meal, but you can also use about 1/3 of the total recipe add more stock cook a little longer and you have a pot of soup to. Knorr do herb pots next to the stock cubes these are great to add into most meals really changes the flavour.
I potted £3.10 today, I shiney £2 coin my £1 from my trolley and 10p roadkill handed over by a very pleased with himself OH, think the SPC might be rubbing off on him. :TJAN - £208.56/£250 NSD-8

Hi everyone,
Please can I join the 2014 list? I've used the forums for a few years now, and now I'm finally ready to really join the party and get myself a sealed pot! I'm so psyched for 2014, and the counting up day falls very close to my 30th birthday so that's a happy coincidence!
