    £4.42 potted today.

    Welcome to the new people.

Sorry that not been on much but have been feeling under par.

This dull weather doesn't help much does it?! Roll on spring!

Good luck all with your potting.

  • Would it be okay if i emptied my jar monthly?
Because the longer I know I have money in my jar,
the more likely i'll spend it.

And don't worry I'll put it all in my savings account :)

  • Hi and welcome to our family! I just spotted your post. Please do read post #1 before you do anything as it explains just what we do, then sort yourself out a sealed pot to escape temptation and off you go...Our lovely leader, Sue-uu will be along soon to allocate you a number to pop on your signature. Then just say 'hello' regularly and join in the banter and tips. We are a lovely bunch :D

Thank you for the welcome! Looking forward to getting allocated a number so I can feel at home :-) I will try and pop on every day I add to the pot, I figured a little bit here and there is better than nothing and will soon add up...

Managed to find another 51p yay! Going into the pot now :-)

    Hello everyone.

I don't post much, as I use cards rather than cash.

But I put in any odd little coins that I have. Today I had an eBay purchaser collect with cash, so that went in the pot. It was only a £1, but it all helps

I don't see why not if that works for you. If I make a biggish sale on eBay or something I transfer it to my savings account and just keep a total on my siggy so that I remember to add it on and declare it in November.

  • Hi all,
Have been potting my £2 daily but no extras this weekend, boo! I made some chorizo stuffed boned chicken thighs for lunch, scrummy if I do say so myself, with some to have cold with hm coleslaw in the week.
Hissing down with rain again, so snuggled down on the sofa with Rosie trying to squeeze me off!
Hope all poorlies are feeling better,
    Caz
