Few bits potted over weekend and if its lucky my pot may well get a few pennies tonight too. I sold some books this weekend too, one I loved and have had it years, its 50 years old, but money is money so off to the new owner it goes. When it clears in paypal I shall be using half of it to have a much needed hair cut plus I owe my DS a little too, and the rest will be joining its friends in Mr Pot.

I handed my work in this morning with a special circumstances form so hopefully I can have my full marks awarded. My tutor was quite hopeful when I got him to sign it earlier :)

I decided to go for a swim on the way back home but embarrassingly I think I've been too enthusiastic and potted my "locker pound" so I had to split a note at reception. So there's another £4 potted today :)

          3. Thank you for my shiny new star Sue :j Hope you are feeling much better now too.
I discovered that my local shop had given me an old 50p with my change  tried to give it in at another shop this morning but they wouldn't take it...but i just looked on ebay and the same design 50p (the D-Day landings) recently fetched £2.20, so it might be a blessing in disguise!

Ooo...I didn't realise that some 50p pieces are no longer legal tender  Still, it could work in your favour thatclaregirl ...must look out for one ;)

Just potted 71p It would have been more but I took DD for a hospital appointment this morning and it cost £3 to park for just over an hour  Bleddy rip off charges (double yellows on the street) aarrgghh

            Happy potting everyone x
