You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 1st post of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We always empty our pots and declare our savings near the end of November, please make a note of this year's date: 27th Nov.
Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.
Welcome back, dazzaofdagenham! Please note that you have a new number now, please pop it on your signature for me. Thanks.
WOW!!!!! You're right and DID spend a LOT in the sales, Bambisbelle......and after having a very MSE Christmas. :rotfl: Still, well done on the savings.
Whooops!Sorry jakes-mum, I didn't see jakes-dad had a migraine so I do hope he's much better now, glad you are too, LC 2. Oh dear, your poor hubby always seems to mess things up with a fleeting few words. So, I take it the xxxxxx jar stays then! :rotfl:
5 x £2 coins potted . Just can't bring myself to spend them. Xx
I have to agree with you, fishcakes, they're so beautiful, too good to spend. :grinheart
You must either have a lot of kiddies where you live, mommyof4, or a lot of wasters with finding money as you do, I wish they'd move to us.claireyfairy82 wrote: »I have a confession, I went to the shops to buy paint for my bedroom. Well I've had my eye on a gorgeous duvet set from habitat, the duvet cover was £95 & the pillowcases were £20 each. The cover was reduced to £75 & pillowcases were £14; plus an extra 20% off, I just couldn't leave it on the shelf.
All in including the paint I got £29.96 discount plus the £32 off the original price. I shall add the £61.96 to my pot. I'm so glad I didn't buy them before Christmas but still feel a bit guilty.
 How the deuce do you spend THAT MUCH on bedding without at least including the ruddy mattress, claireyfairy???! My DH would have gone bonkers or thought I was! Kindly no comments to that last bit, anyone!
Well done, Helen, good to see someone sane. :j
Not sure whether to say well done or what,Cauliflower?! Still, with the vouchers etc I guess you did very well indeed, but.......! Little wonder your poor Mum was traumatised.
VERY well done to you for certain, AlwaysHappy, yes, a good girl for sure. :Asuperrhinos wrote: »I hope everyone had a good Christmas.
Mine was so lovely so much pleasure gained from my almost three year old's excitement and wonder.
Oh that was wonderful to read, superrhino, make the absolute most of those young years, they're a real joy to look back on later on. :happyhear
You never fail to surprise me, jakes-mum, what would surprise is if you'd said the opposite. You did very well with your sale items - they were clearly necessary ones too so good for you!32b3in2013 wrote:Another £2.23 potted for me today. I have also been shopping. I have most of the birthday presents for next year and also a few Christmas presents. They are all wrapped too and safely logged on a spread sheet so I don't buy the presents again
Brilliant Birthday/Christmas shopping, 32b3! You sure you're not pushing it a little.
Hiya Caz and well done. Have you had a look on-line for crochet patterns and anything you need to know? Loads of things there. I did see your post from a few days ago, then forgot to answer it yesterday.Anyway, I see what you mean and don't blame you at all. They'll be great company for each other, not to mention you.
Happy saving.
PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers now. You'll see there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. Please change numbers ASAP folks.
If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!
Very many thanks indeed.Sue x

I've also got Christmas and birthday presents for 2014 but your one up on me with the wrapping paper. I got a bit of a shock on Boxing Day though. At my SIL and she gave someone the present , that DH and I had got her in 2012, gobsmacked is an understatement. I wouldn't have minded but I wanted it myself. It was an FCUK set. You could be right Sue, it's probably a bit early!! I bought all my presents for 2013 in November/early December and it drove me mad all year that I wasn't already sorted for Christmas, so back to normal for 2014.
Shame you can't choose the people your OH is related to eh fishcakes?. That's a bit of a cheek, her giving the present away in front of you.

Evening SueA brilliant saving on the lights, sparky! Sparky and lights?? I think I must have missed a post though - why that many?!
7ft Christmas tree eats that many light Sue plus J likes to decorate the tree with as many lights & baubles as there are spaces to cover, it's her pride & joy at Christmas. She's a big kid at heart & I'm a big pushover when it comes to her! You should know that after all the years we've been doing SPC!
Had a great day today & a really nice meal, spent time with J, I'm a lucky fella.
