Cauliflower wrote: »Hi folks. Haven't been around here since xmas eve. Hope everyones had a great xmas! ours has been very busy & looking forward to winding down for the next few days. I too hit the sales *oops* but, like bambisbelle, it was all for the little lady not me or the hubby. On boxing day I braved the next sale for the 1st time ever & got £227 worth of next clothes for £87 then went to mothercare outlet yesterday & got £150 worth of clothes for £38!
Because of xmas money & vouchers we got for DD the whole lot actually only cost me & the hubby £27!!& shes kitted out for the rest of the year
Ive not managed to pot much over the last few days but £1.20 has gone in there today from the change I had.
Hope everyones ok, & welcome to everyone who has joined

Thanks!it was a good next sale. I was being extreme though & went at 6am when it opened  but then realised that people had been there since 2am!! It was definitely an experience - it was bedlam! but was well worth it with all the lovely stuff I got. I took my poor mum with me so hubby could stay at home with the little lady, I think she was traumatised bless her! :rotfl:
You did really well with your savings too! :T:j Debt Free since October 2011 :jSealed pot Challenge #225Weight Loss.....-1/14 £365 in 365 days.....£25/£365Save £1000 in 2014.....£196/£1000Saving For My Rainy Day

Cauli - Oh my god 6am!! Mind you saying that if my dad had his way we would have been camping out with the rest of the shoppers. l won out though as I've been so tired, with little Bambi siphoning the life out of me like a mini petrol thief.
Going to do the clearing up tomorrow so fingers crossed l find some coinage for my pot.

Sue! as if I would give hgh sugar sweets to children!! . . . of course I would
I do it to my best mate all the time when she pops over with her 3 [STRIKE]tyrants[/STRIKE] angels :rotfl: 'Here you go boys, take some sweeties to eat in the car' :rotfl:
Ahhh LC2, big hugs to you, I used to take beta blockers for migraines, they are the most horrible thing to suffer, I was well happy when they b*ggered off!
Went to Mr T today as had ordered some stuff from T direct, got a new George forman grill with removable plates reduced down to £21 :T, another pyrex dish, new pyrex jug (as my old one has been through the wash so many times all the numbers have rubbed off the side!) and a new toaster that was reduced to £34.50 (as last year I sat the old one next to the hob and managed to melt all the plastic on the underside . . . still worked though :rotfl: but felt it might not be as safe as I liked to believe). Had 2 x £5 off £20 spends so did 2 orders and got eveything for under £60 :T as I was going to spend that on the Geoge forman alone I was well pleased
Then went round as needed a few bits and the woman at the reduced section was on a mission! got 2 packs of 2 salmon pieces for 45p each, 3 x mince at 40p each, some diced steak and kidney 50p, a large pack of willow farm chicken thighs and drumsticks 55p, 2 packs of 2 pork chops, 1 for 37p, other for 57p, and 2 large seasoned breaded cod potions for 57p :j:j. Mum was pleased as half was for her
Got 2 x 50p's for the pot as a lady asked to swap for my £1 coin for the trolley.SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Evening
Another £2.23 potted for me today. I have also been shopping. I have most of the birthday presents for next year and also a few Christmas presents. They are all wrapped too and safely logged on a spread sheet so I don't buy the presents again

Can I join in please? Hoping to save lots this next year so I can put money away for moving out. I've come to the conclusion that anything I can save will help! First I need to cash all the shrapnel I've saved this year! But I already have a pot that's sealed, it just needs money in it!*2014 £365/365days - £52/£365* *20p Savers club #17 £12.00/£50*
