2 X £2 coins plus 5 X 50p's from our day out today, into the Canada 2015 spending fund pot. Also 2p shopping mall change. Lots of extra change into the sealed pot thanks to me not admitting to having the right money when I pay for something, can't help myself.

£1.99 purse change and 1p roadkill makes £2 potted today.

Sparky, that's exactly what I do too. I won't willingly part with change unless absolutely necessary. :D

    I potted 3 x £1 coins and a 20p coin = £3.20 potted and steadily plodding along. :p

Hi again, samtoby and welcome back! :hello: Have you still got the boat/yacht? It's good to see old faces return.

Evening all - new to this so hoping I'm doing this right! £8.26 spare change in my sealed pot today. I'm no.249

    Thanks

You're doing just fine, Gwengeth15, there's no need to write your No in your posts as I can see it in your signature. What a great amount, a very good start. :D
Went to the dry cleaners today to pick up trousers at cost of 4 pounds, gave the lady a tenner and she gave me back THREE 2 POUND coins !!!!

Such a lovely clunk as they hit the bottom of the tin

Another £2 potter then, dazzaofdagenham, we just can't seem to resist them. :) PS. Would you please add your No to your signature? Thanks.

    ooooh lovely, skilly. :j

Good to hear your little one enjoyed it so much, Saver88, all the best in the sales.

    Evening Sue

7ft Christmas tree eats that many light Sue plus J likes to decorate the tree with as many lights & baubles as there are spaces to cover, it's her pride & joy at Christmas. She's a big kid at heart & I'm a big pushover when it comes to her! You should know that after all the years we've been doing SPC!

Had a great day today & a really nice meal, spent time with J, I'm a lucky fella.

Say hi to T, take care

I just did to T, thanks sparky, and him Hi to you & J. Re the highlighted sentence, oh I do for sure, but you have to...she's the love of your life and good to hear you both enjoyed the meal. Reminds me of 2 others I know. I see what you mean about the lights now, she'll have a ball next year. :D

    Well saved, Vicky.....

    ....you too, Modesty.

Aha! You noticed then, Lynsey. :D Well, you never know, though that's over £2000 still to go, last year (or this) the last one came in February!! I do hope 2014 sees us get there though.

Well done, sh1305, you're doing well.

    Great saving, littleangels3!

All the best for you, and me, tomorrow, Meowhouse.

That sounded lovely, Rosy, really pleased you enjoyed yourselves - and brought back some money. ;) It isn't quite Christmas without our youngsters now is it.

PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers now. You'll see there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. :DPlease change numbers ASAP folks.

If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!

    Very many thanks indeed.

    Sue x

Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's NEVER too late. There may be a lot of us, but don't be shy, we're a lovely lot, so come on in. :grinheart
