Debt Destruction December!!!

Hello hello. A quick check in here. SFDs = 16/15. No sales shopping here as per the DDD rules
Instead I have been costing DH's flights to a stag do in March and a trip we're taking in Sept as prt of training for my 2nd job. It'd all help if Lloyds online banking was working!!
I start what I hope will be my last set of nights (and only 2 of them!) before I start the new job a week on Monday.

Evening all,
SFD hereso that's 12/15
I took back two items to Next and got a lovely pair of work trousers insteadI also went to the gym and then walked all the dogs
and so far I've stuck to my healthy lifestyle, based on The Skinny Rules. So a pretty good day
My only gripe is that I haven't been able to pay off anymore off the debt as I haven't had any tutoring for over a week. I did get £20 Christmas money and I'm wondering whether to use this as it would cheer me up, and that's a great Christmas present! Any thoughts on using Christmas money for debts?
Hope you have all had good days, hope everyone is recovering from their illnesses and hugs to all.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

:j Happy Friday Everyone!
Sorry to hear that some of you Hobbitses have been/ are poorly- sending positive vibes for speedy recoveries!!
Been a busy couple of days and finally had the chance to sit down and read this thread!
Had a lovely Christmas eve with friend's followed by 2 days of family invasion and the big tidy up was today. So I have acquired 3 sfds in a row! Bringing my total to-14 Sfds :T
I have stayed clear of the sales. I really do find them incredibly stressful (although I do appreciate a bargain), however I haven't been to post- Christmas sales for over 10 years after having a panic attack in the middle of a heaving department store- bad times! The memory is enough to keep me wary. I might venture out in a few days (once it's calmer) as I would like to be a lil more prepared for next Christmas and for Birthdays throughout the year, so we shall see.
My Ma got me a VW Campervan book for Christmas- predominantly about cooking in a campervan but also contains loads of info about the history and culture around them with gorgeous photographs! I love it so much, my mind keeps drifting off to my little imaginery world where I go on adventures in my very own campervan and am super savy in the knowledge of campervan mechanics, and wake-up with a beach view one morning and a lovely cuppa tea whilst I breathe in the fresh air and feel full of life and adventure. *Sigh* Then I look outside at the grim weather and land back in reality with a bump. Ah well, it's good to dream! (the little voice in my head says, one day Dove, one day!) :rotfl:
Right, time to go and cook up some din dins for the remainder of the fam!
Have a good evening one and all x:coffee:

Tomorrow will be spendy as I need fuel and... we are going to the zoo tomorrow, zoo tomorrow, zoo tomorrow! Can't wait
Wondering about an online sainsbobs shop as I have more vouchers so may do that if there are suitable slots. I could get a months worth of cat food, tea, coffee etc and then Jan budget could be lowered... will have a see.'Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain'0 -

Spend day for me today, needed vegetables and fruit urgently after several days of a sugar only diet! Did come home with a £9 profiterole dessert that had been reduced to £1, though, so maybe a I'll eat a bit more sugar before I stop..!
Lots of talk of Skinny Rules on thread so far - has anyone done Clean & Lean? A friend was talking about it so I reserved the book from the library today. I presume giant profiterole desserts are included as part of the plan! :rotfl:February: 5/15 NSD0 -
Evening Hobbitses...
You lot talking about diets make me feel REALLY guilty cause I just asked Ma to fetch the Quality Street box - no longer a tin, smaller in size and less in weight - cheeky b**tards!:rotfl:
SO I intend to really up my fitness game come January time. I know its the time for NY resolutions (I personally hate them) but I found it difficult to manage one obsession ( debt busting ) AND fitness obsession so didn't do anything this year...
I have realised that I need to make this fun until I get some sort of fitness back - which might take a while - cause I get annoyed and disheartened pretty fast knowing how fit I used to be and how much weight I have put on in the last year. I have shifts two stone before and will do it again but its HARD....
I personally like these little green triangles... :T:T:T
So tomorrow I shall be getting January up and running so get your paws ready to sign up ( don't worry Stewby I know you are number 8 )... but since brother is chucking me out of the living room I have to leave the t'interwebby stuff until tomorrow...
Hope everybody is okay today and is surviving the last of Christmassy feelings before the New Year kicks in... I am taking the quality street to bed with me cause when I get back I wont be looking at them again for a while...:(
Huggles and kisses Hobbitses... be good!
Onwards and Upwards...“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0 -
Just a rather random thought I've had...
In sept/oct, heck even nov, people were talking about when they would put their heating on.
So my question is: when do you think you will turn your heating off? Personally, maybe May! Tis hard to envisage a time when socks and slippers are an impediment not a necessity...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
