Debt Destruction December!!!

Another spend day as a little more Christmas shopping took place today thanks to the MSE bargains feed! Still, two more presents bite the dust and I did no extra sales surfing whilst I was there, just logged into the bargain, made purchase then came away quick!
Everything else is still going according to plan though. Food budget's looking good as I had an 4sda refund, a price promise payback and a "sorry we were rubbish" good will voucher which have added £10 back into the food budget for the month!
Hope everyone else is well and warm :wave:Stash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Hello everyone, :santa2:
Still only at 3 SFD's.I've had 3 Spend days in a row the last 3 days, no matter how well I've tried to plan my presents, I keep finding I've missed something, something has broken or i've run out of something else which has stolen my SFDs away. However, I am ploughing through the pressie making and giving- it's so nice to see how fascinated my friend's are by my hand-made gifts and cards. The extra work is worth it!
Went out for a planned meal with friend's on Sunday- it's a nightmare trying to get everyone in one place at one time, but we managed it. It was very festive with crackers, hats and Elf (film) to finish the eve. Christmas really feels like it's settling in!
Got to try and reign in some more SFD's this week. I am not in desperate need for anything atm...so I should be able to acquire at least 3 out of the next 4 days. *fingers crossed*
Hope you've all had a good start to the week :A:coffee:

Another couple of spendy days recently but not too worried as I'm not going anywhere for the next few days and I've done 5 NSD.
Still got my blooming cold. I can't seem to shake it off.NSK Zombie # SFD 7/15 Food Bank £0/£5

I thought I'd had a SFD as the only item I bought was a yellow sticker pizza for OH reduced from £3.50 to 50p. Unfortunately, when I double checked the rules there is no yellow sticker rule this month
So SFD lost for 50p

Moneymash - you say you think you're failing BUT you have 7/15 NSDs so far, so you're definitely not failing in this challenge, and you have paid off HOW MUCH in the last two and a bit years?! An amazing amount - not sure why that sad face is in your signature, you're going great guns! :j You're not failing at all, just having a wobbly day, and those are definitely allowed (I am the queen of them!)
As for me, another NSD and another game of "If X happens then Y will happen so I will need £A and then I can pay off B at £C per month and then put aside £D for tax..." which obviously involves my spreadsheet to is therefore great (if scary!) I do have a new mini-goal, though, which is to make an extra £48.85 this month so that I can leave one pot of savings untouched when paying The Bill Bill 1, and put that pot towards The Big Bill 2. Swagbucking and Apptrailering like crazy now, but think it's doable!
I also feel very grown up and a bit more in control because, for the first time ever, I'm taking tax into account. I'm self employed but have always just swung it, which has bitten me in the behind this year. SO! Everything I earn now will have 20% taken off and siphoned into the brand new tax savings account I started tonight. Like a grown up! I've worked out how much 20% is on the lump sum I am hoping will be paid into business account very soon and will take that off and into the tax account immediately! I'm actually looking forward to April when I can do my tax return for this year and feel like everything is settled, up to date, and I know exactly where I stand. Who am I and what have I done with Kangadoo?! I must be ill! :rotfl:February: 5/15 NSD0 -

SFD yes. No money has exchanged hands!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0 -
Ooo I get to kick of this DDD day with the first post :j Waky waky rise and shine one and all!
I haven't been able to post in the evening for two nights running (but am reading) as I'm trying to get the baby to settle into a bedtime routine. I had a SFD yesterday taking my total up to 4.
I've got to spend today, need some groceries and have seen a bargain on a turkey (in Scandinavia so not valid for you guys - sorry) but other than the most necessary I am determined to not buy all sorts. I must eat what I have in before buying more!
I've now got three Christmas presents left, one for the baby (but got a tiny soft toy from Santa so may just leave it until after Christmas to see what she gets from others), one for a relative and one secret santa for school. I will have a look to see what I have left in the "childrens birthday gift" box which I accummulate barganous toys in throughoutthe year. I've also got a birthday present to get.
Its approaching end of year so I will be sorting my accounts to see what money I can throw at the debts before the year is out. Will report back about that later.
Okay, coffee has brewed so I'm off to wake myself upFinally had my eyes opened and I am ready to tackle my debts!
