    Day 4 completed for me
I am going to make a batch of wraps tomorrow to do chicken and mayo wraps for lunches. I find it a great way to use up left over cooked chicken and it costs pennies:j

I think I missed what happened, but glad you bun is better. It's awful when a pet is ill

Thank you! She has bad teeth anyway but this time she had a gut problem that is often fatal straight after her dental. The only way to give her a chance was to syringe feed her every few hours! The 1.30 an one wasn't much fun I can tell you :rotfl: it is with it though!!! We are very soppy about our little bunny! :p

Spicy butternut soup (again) for me. And on Thursday... and on Friday :)
But I am doing well on the calorie front also, so my lunches might be boring but hopefully I'm losing a teensy weensy amount of weight too :)

I have noticed that too. Having a hot lunch stops me eating so much and soup is really healthy. I was getting bored of sandwiches really!

OK well this is day 3. I had broccoli soup again.. The good news is that it has gone now. Efforts to make soup tonight have not gone as planned. First choice was leek and potato... Not enough potato. Second was squash soup... The squash was strange looking (yellow sticker)... So I now have have a ratatouille type thing which tastes nice at least for tomorrow. I will have that with a price of olive bread and some satsumas/ Clementine's.

We are all of to a good start so far.:T

Please can you update me w2bese? Also I have to echo the sentiments of others and and say thank you for running the thread so well. I love it. :T

Day 3 done for me :D

Indeed, thanks for running this thread xx.

Tomorrow I'm meeting a friend for lunch but I will bring some 9p porridge for breakfast

OMG, result..... I had just finished typing the above when Mr Shortie dropped a bag of crisps and a galaxy choc bar on my lap! I don't like galaxy choc so I donated it back (lol) but I won't say no to the crisps :p

    Good evening everyone :)

Soworried, DC and Shortie, i am just about to update you :) Thanks for all the thanks. In truth, it helps me as much as it helps you, to stay on the straight and narrow of taking my lunch to work instead of buying at tesco!

Not sure what to make for tomorrow, think i might take a trusty sarnie :)
  • Well done everyone, keep up the good work :)
It's a strict diet day for me tomorrow, I'm on the 5:2 and Mondays and Thursdays are my fast days. So, it's a yoghurt for morning break and soup for lunch. No fruit and no oatcakes. :)
I like the sound of the caldo verdi but since I'm veggie I'm not sure what I'd replace the chorizo with??
