Not much help as I've never bought from them.
I use Barty domestic appliance spares (Bartyspares) via ebay and have found them very good.0 -
order placed on 6th of month, payment taken from my card, invoice states no payment taken unless item is in stock - it's now 12th and i have heard nothing - the telephone number on the site is perpetually engaged ....0

"Step 5: Liquidator reports on directors
The liquidator has a duty to make a report on the conduct of the directors of the business. The report is known as the director’s disqualification report. It is sometimes also referred to the D1 or D2 report in reference to the number of the form that the liquidator must complete and submit to the Insolvency Service.
The use of a D1 form indicates that the liquidator feels that the directors are guilty of misconduct and should be investigated further by the Insolvency Service. The use of a D2 form indicates that the liquidator does not feel that further investigation of the director's conduct is necessary.
The report is issued to the insolvency service and will state whether or not in the liquidator’s opinion, the directors have acted properly. If not, a D1 will be used and the report could trigger a futher investigation of the director's conduct by the insolvency service."

They're just up the road from my work. I'll see if they're still there.0

:mad:placed order, money taken from card immediately, lots of promises that goods despatched but never received. Have been assured refund I request has been passed to the accounts dept. but do I believe them? Will claim back from credit card co and pass on to Action Fraud and Trading Standards but that's not really the point is it?0

Jeez seems they are a scam company looking at all the replies here. Avoid Vacuspares! It charges for goods on the day that they are ordered, not on dispatch. It does not deliver within the five days promised, with no contact to advise of the delay. When I contacted them, they couldn't say when the item would be dispatched or delivered - vague promises. I cancelled my order and was promised a refund to my credit card. got an email to confirm order cancelled and 'passed for refund'. Over a week later there has still been no refund. We have had to refer to the matter to our credit card company.0

No problems here so far, arranged to collect and pay at the same time on Weds. They've been very busy today, but you can also try calling them on 01795 478136 (different part of the company, same chap).0

I've used espares.co.uk ok, for anyone who's looking for a reliable alternative.0
