The BPA don't seem to care that their former members still use their logo - this has been reported to them many times before - hence why I suggested Trading Standards.:cool:0

I am sure most people display their permit (I do). I have asked the Property Manager for the estate if he is informed if / when they issue a ticket.
Needless to say I haven't seen any patrols !
Now, in a few weeks I am expecting Br Gas to come and service my boiler. They will obviously be in a liveried vehicle. Do I give them a Visitor's Permit or the fact that it is obviously not someone just grabbing some free parking sufficient ? Do PPCs generally ticket obvious trade vehicles?Thank you for reading this message.0 -
Yes, they do. C2C used to clamp anything on wheels, back in the day!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I will give them a visitor's permit then !
I have received a reply from AOS.
I can confirm Capital 2 Coast Security did used to be members of the BPA and AOS. Therefore we do allow them a grace period to ensure all our logos our removed.
We will be monitoring the situation. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

I have asked them when they left, as the company have only just started patrolling the estate (end of December), and if they left some time ago then their new signage should be correct.Thank you for reading this message.0 -

I'm assuming the signs went up in December then ? This is after C2C had left the BPA. So there should be no grace period. The BPA told me that they were giving C2C three months to deal with it - that ends in mid-Feb if memory serves me correctly."The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -
Indeed. Surely this "dispensation" shouldn't apply for NEW contracts that C2C have engaged?
Just further proof that this is all a SCAM, and the powers-that-be* have either been hoodwinked (I'm being generous), or are complicit in this scam.
* People who engage these scammers, and the Government for allowing S4 of POFA to be railroaded through.0 -

It was at the end of December.
I shall continue to monitor it.
Now to look up details of Trading Standards, but I suppose they will get a similar response from BPA that I got.Thank you for reading this message.0
