Did an extra Kids Klub today, which went well. Dd survived it - she was very pale with dark circles round her eyes and quite a few tears while there. But we had no choice but to stay to the end. It was so lovely to see several of the girls there make her something or draw a picture for her to help her feel better.

I have now washed the final (I sincerely hope) duvet cover + bottom sheet + cases for the back bedroom. When they are dry I shall fold them and store them nicely. And that'll be the spare room sorted.

We do have 3 full sets for our room, but I'm sat here looking at another 3 duvet covers - with cases but no sheet....

    Anyhow,'enough of sorting linens!

A first NSD of the month acquired, 15 more to go...

    Lovely day at work.

    Lovely su shine.

Dropped a bag to Sally Army. And got my £2 credit.

Dd had a gd play out front.

I did a workout while she was there: 12 mins of get up and step up. Did about 63 this time.

Paid 'leftover' cash off the mortgage.

    Pinned bunny bits together.

Sewed up 2 bunny bottome, so 2 to add to total.

Planned tomorrow's food. And tomorrow's clothes.

Recyc is out. Washing up done.

And Weds has been designated 'traipse round as many ch shops as you can bear to either find a red riding hood costume or get fabric for the cape and order a dress online' day. At least I have the car!

Another good day at work, and tomorrow's a day off. Even better.

2 more bunnies cut out and 2 bodies sewm. The 2 sewing books that I ordered with Cmss money have arrived, so now I own the proper bunny pattern. Howrvrr dd has informed me that she prefers my style of bunny, so I should continue making them that way!

3 days of much improved eating - no grains or sugar - have lightened me a little. Tis good.

    Tomorrow should involve:
    - cheerleading
    - aldee
    - up to 12 charity shops - I have a short list so must resist
    - cutting out 2 more bunnies
    - sewing limbs, ears and bodies
    - making thumb cookies
    - tidying this week's post
    - workout
    - reduce the spread of dd's gubbins downstairs
    - take a bag to Sally Army

And much more that I can't recall, but which should be scribbled down somewhere...

    Off to mooch on mse.

A trawl around the ch shops gave forth nowt for red riding hood costume. Boo.

However...it did produce 8 pillowcases for use, 2 pillowcases for bunnies, a white sheet for snowmen, a small-check blue shirt for bunnies, a pair of black ballet shoes, 5 books for dd, and 2 small bags of barbie clothes and accessories. Total spend: £13. Result!

The duvet that I was going to cut up, I am no longer going to use - I shall give it to the ch shop. The £2 spent on bunny fabric is well worth it! And the pillowcases for use are mostly 100% cotton ones.

So, cheerleading done, aldee done (hmmm - spent almost double what I had in mind, oopsie) bag to Sally Army done, workout done and lunch done.

What now? Maybe some bunny cutting out. Or washing up. Or going through the post. Or tidying up. Or making a coffee and having a sneaky play on dd's tablet...?

Dd is already asleep - amaaaaaazing!

Got a parcel ready to go to amzn trade in tomorrow.

    Not working tomorrow.

Have found 2 pairs of old walking boots toput in a shoe bin. Still got 2 pairs! 1 for walking, 1 for gardening. And black ajlle boots that don't fit right for ch shop.

Komdo-ed my bags. I am a rucksack gal so why do I have little bags...?? 3 in the ch shop bag.

    Satisfying dtuff.

Dd awoke early today - 6.30 - so she could spend some time with her daddy before work. So sweet!

She has already made a bday card ready for tomorrow.

    Today:
    - sch run
    - take amzn trade in box (and see if there's a shoe container up that way)
    - take boots, if there's a container
    - pop into cafe where dd is going tomorrow, to make sure they know she needs g-free sweeties, etc
    - 1st load of dh's washing
    - knit those pesky trousers
    - turned sewn limbs the right way round
    - workout
    - plan buses and food for getting to and from work tomorrow
    - pay for dd's trip

Go everything done except knitting the trousers - go me!:T

I walked the amzn box up to the collection point, then on to the dr to drop off dd's repeat prescription, the to the bank to pay in £5 of 5ps, then home. And later I returned up that way to put my 2 spare and totally worn out walking boots into the shoe holder outside the key cutting shop. And then I went to pay the remaining amount on dd's trip. Over 17000 steps.

And the brutal 300 rep workout again - every Friday in March - took approx 26 mins. Ooph.

Some bunny limbs got stuffed and pinned onto bodies. Butterfly cakes and thumb cookies got made, as well as a scrummy frozen coconut brazil bar. Should be macadamia, but don't have any. Nor cashews. It is now set, so will take some to work tomorrow.

Ya boo hiss to open mornings - 9-1. Which translates to being out of the house 7.30-2.30 ish. Will be on the bus as dh is taking dd to dance and then a party. They will still be home well before me!

And a last minute invite to another party on sunday. The present will be a bunny in one of my hm bags.

The washing got mostly dry on the line today, which felt good.

Saw a TULIP out today. Doesn't it know it shouldn't be out with croci and daffs! Have asked dh to get me a pot of 3 hyacinths for mother's day - suggested he buys it tomorrow when he is near there for dd's party.

Ooh the croci are all out around here, and the teeny tiny narcissi too, which I love! No tulips though, what are they doing up! :rotfl:

I am amazed by your activity still.. I thought I never sat still... but you are on another level!! :D am very impressed with your charity shop hauls. They are so expensive around here... And not a lot in them! I should go in more often though..

What is open day for? School?!

DD is such a sweetheart. Hope she goes to sleep nice and early for you tonight. I am so pooped after the last week of frenetic activity with sicky babies I just want her to sleep in tomorrow... i am sure she will be up at 5 though. Sods law.

Hope you are having a lovely evening with DD & DH :) xx

OOOOH P.S!!! I am looking for a Nintendo DS. Hear me out... I've been meaning to tell you for ages. When I got mine out.. due to long periods of inactivity stuffed in its pouch, the plastic had warped and faded and smashed apart in places! It still works but it is falling to pieces badly. And I have nearly a dozen great games sat here which I can barely get pence for thanks to 2ds 3ds etc. So I keep looking for one second hand in great condition. And when I find one... it shall all be winging its way to you for DD to play with :) xxx

Lilt, you are so kind - thank you. But don't look too hard, eh?

I know what you mean re the ch shops and prices - I know which ones are reasonable, which have a £1 rail, which do 3 kids clothes for £1, etc

Today is school. Only happens twice a year though. Fortunately dh is back, otherwise dd would be with me again. There are 3 of us in our department, so I won't be stuck in a room on my own, waiting for prospective parents to show up.

So, I must go and make breakfast as I'll be off in half an hour. Should get a lot of walking in today too, but anything over 10k will do me.
