lilty the 10 pages are 40 posts each, as I have set it to maximum, so 400 posts, plus any new ones. I want to reach the end but also want to maintain some sort of life!
2 bags to SA today, plenty of walking too, but had a spend when I wouldn't usually, as dh asked me to get milk. I so etimes think he guzzles more of it than dd!
But am off work tomorrow to look after dd. She is muchly improved but not yet well enough for school, and we'll see how tonight goes...
So, tomorrow I shall try to:
- kondo my footwear
- do a pale colours wash
- take photos of the bunnies so far and email them to a mum who wants 5, so that she can choose which ones she likes best
- wash up
- get another box ready for amzn trade in
- cancel veggie box - the quantities are pitifully small, and dh isn't happy!
- emailmum re next weekend
Must stop eating popcorn and go and prepare tea!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Poor little DD
bless her. Glad she is on the mend, but it is never nice to see kids unwell and especially with temperatures. Those are the nights us mums never get any sleep eh!
I see about the 10 pages. I was thinking it was 20!! I set it to 40 but I kept getting lost on the challenge so moved it back!
Hope you get a peaceful night!! xx

Why aren't you sleeping at 12.30 am, eh, Lilt???
Dd dropped off to sleep immediately at 8 last night. Then woke herself - and me - at 3.50am so I brought her in with us, where she slept quite well. Until 6.30 when dh got up. She slept u til 7.45 for dh yesterday, but NEVER does that for me!
She is a poorly munchkin - has become like a hot water bottle again, radiating heat. Add in a cough and snot and looking very rough. She is currently flopped on the bed watching Care Bears.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Dd has had an afternoon sleep! Probably 4+ years since that happened...
And I have made her a cape - she looks great in it, if I say so myself!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
I am finally up to date with the Marie Kondo thread - yay!
I have kondo-ed my footwear and culled my coats. Also went through the mugs, plates cupboard and found some I don't love - dsd + gf may need them in sept, so although it is a long wait, they shall rest quietly in a box. The rest of the mugs are dd's (3) and dh's (gazillion).
4 bunnies finished off today. Have decided not to photo them so that a mum can choose - the photos don't work well, and she had asked me to choose 5 for her. So I shall.
Dd is not going to school tomorrow. Would rather she was well enough for thurs instead. She watched a superhero barb1e movie twice today and got herself dressed up for it. She has also worn the cape a lot and was disappointed not to be able to wear it in the bath, nor in bed!
Off to do something not child-related now that she's asleep!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
My mum is coming to visit on Sat - yay!
Hmmm - must clear, nay kondo, spare room so we can put the futon down and move in the place! That's today's task list sorted then!
Dd was asleep super early but I was up to her at 10.30 and 12.30, and at 12.45 she came in with us as she was coughing so much. She wanted to be super close to me, cue minimal bed and duvet and awkward sleeping positions! Anyhow, she is STILL sleeping now :j - amazing. And needed.
Having kondo-ed my footwear, and moved the used ones into the wardrobe, I can now walk around my side of the bed without tripping up or kicking anything. Result.
The sun is currently shining so I shall wash dh's work overalls and any dark items.
The last wash is dry and ready to be folded nicely.
I feel the urge to cut out more bunnies, despite having 4 already done that need sewing!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
dd is eating her lunch. 45 mins in to it and has manged 1 cheese string, some jelly and about 4 kernals of popcorn. Bfast was a frube + 2cubes of lemon jelly. Hmmm. Maybe she won't be at school tomorrow!
Washing is blowing merrily on the line. Several bags with only a few bits in them sorted from the spare room, and a few more books removed. It looks so much better already.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Workout completed. 12 min AMRAP of 1-legged sandbag deadlift Left; Right; low jacks; knee raise; jumping jacks; breakdance push up.
Did the sandbag + a 5k dumbell, as it felt too light last weds! So it was approx 33lbs.
Then I did what I missed on Sun: 5x 5 each pistol squat. Ooph. I was wo dering, around 4pm, why my legs were wobbly going up and down the stairs! That, plus carrying an enfeebled dd up + down, tho she's still a lightweight at 42lbs.
Dh has offered to take another lieu day tomorrow. He plans to reorganise his socks (61 pairs so far...) and pants drawer, and put the teeshirts and tops where he wants them. He is very welcome to do so!
Finished the trousers for dd's boy doll, so another one to add to the tally.
Didn't do any sewing or cutting out, but did pack up another box for amzn trade in. And chose 5 bunnies - £37.50 to be paid - yippee!
Still a lot to shift out to the SA before mum arrives... 1 bag ready in the hall (hopefully for tomorrow), and another 2 bags' worth in the lounge. Maybe 1 on Fri, on the bus, t'other on sat?
Enough wittering. Cauli cheese is calling and the chips are nearly done.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Dd is muchly improved and SHALL return to school tomorrow. Her red riding hood costume has arrived and she looks lovely in it. The red cape I made make sit look even better!
We still went to the dr, even tho she wasn't really needing it. So she's had a thorough checking over and is ok.
She watched some of Star Wars with daddy - loved it!
I got out for a good walk at lunchtime so have made a decent number of steps today.
A bag got delivered to the Sally Army, so another £2 credit. And another bag is already filled. I may be brave/silly and take it on the bus tomorrow - 3 buses as it's too heavy to walk with! Just to get it out of the house really. Also need to drop off another box for amzn trade in and get to a PO. So should get plenty of steps again.
Tomorrow:
- school run
- amzn box
- PO
- SA bag
- clear spare room more
- clear spare room shelf - kondo it!
- put iron board away
- sew 2 green bunnies
- knit flowers for mothers day
- de-construct 'paddington/sparkle'
- hoover rug
- plan meals til tues
- email re shopping list for texas
- workout - brutal 300 reps
That's enough!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Last night, dd was asleep by 7.20pm. Unheard of in this household! And I got to feel what it is like to have an evening...
But that pesky cough - the sort that is rotten at bedtime - didn't manage to stop her getting to sleep, but woke her at 8ish, 10.30, 2.30, 4 ish and 5ish. (woke me too, may I add!). We resorted to putting on her 'night night' music from when she was much smaller, to help her sleep.
However, while she was 'sleeping' I managed to clear enough of the spare room to put the futon down. And got a recently-kondoed bed set out of the airing cupboard and on the bed. For dh. No way was dd going to be sleeping in her own bed, where I'd have to get up and out each time she coughed! I was up plenty as it was!!
So, one of today's tasks was done yesterday - yay!
Priorities today? Box, PO, small food shop, and knit flowers.
Want-to-do? SA bag, library, kondo spare room shelves, workout, sew and a little bit of telly that's not 'tiny pop'.
Having finished the KonMarie thread, and now keeping up with it, I've started on the mumsnet discussion - only 5 lots of 1000 posts, and I'm on about number 201...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
