Thank you for the wishes for Pip.
he describes the last month as his world imploding and all the changes have overwhelmed him.
He did indeed survive the double camera action, but it was not nice at all. This week, the rheumatologist has prescribed a couple of meds for his Reynauds and joint pain. And today the neurologist said he'll order a head and spine MRI and some electric stuff for testing muscle spasms, and refer him to a couple of places. The kid wouldn't have time to go to college!
Tomorrow I'm off to my sister's, near Hadrian's Wall, for bil's 60th tea party. It's more coffee and cake than tea, which suits me just fine. I'm staying for a couple of nights and am so looking forward to it!

Amazingly, I got to my destination without a single train delay!
And had time for a quick jaunt up and down the burn. Though the return bit had me thinking of all the synonyms for gloaming, gloomy, etc!
After a good night's sleep, I'm ifit to face a day of being sociable. For a while, at least 🤣

Oh. Me. Oh. My. EHCP nonsense. Not yet sorted, but at least further on.
Tomorrow I move to the PIP nonsense.
In other news, I need a couple more hygienist visits to de-plaque the stores of plaque I have seemingly been hoarding. But I get an injection, so am happy for her to do whatever needs doing.
The gym is very much my therapy and by the time I get to 3 days without going, I get really twitchy and need to lift heavy things! The road in the middle of my journey to the gym will be closed for 10 days as from tomorrow night, which is darned awkward generally, but I now will have the opportunity to get to and possibly from the gym under my own steam. (I'm not sure if both sides of the road will be closed off, or just the one, meaning that I can get back on public transport). The shorter route will require fighting through brambles and overhanging overgrowth, but will totally avoid busy roads. The easier-to-walk route is all along busy roads. Decisions, decisions.
I've made the decision to not sign up for many invigilating sessions this term. Pip still needs me. A lot. And that's okay. And going out to work a lot would not help him at all.
