Oh, I am so pleased with myself!

Having somehow locked myself out of my teacher's pension site (still not quite sure how!) a couple of years ago, I decided that now was the time to call them and put it right. So I searched for relevant emails and found a recentish one telling me to 'click here' for the member dashboard and my info. I clicked, and was able to log in and find it all. Go me!!!

I am eligible for Transitional Protection - must be an age thing. I have a choice between two methods, and I will be getting a few K more than I expected! It's not massive because I was part-time for the majority of my teaching, but I still get most at 60 (no complaints there - must have a look to see what extra - if any - deferring it brings me) and the rest at 67 when SP also kicks in. One pension figures now saved and available to peruse at my leisure.

Just the other itty bitty ones now - 5 of them!!!

Hmmm, keeping tally of what I reach requires a little more consistent logging of it!

So far I'm getting in 100g protein every day, which I'm really pleased with. It also means that I'm logging my food on the app.

I improved things by hanging a new clothes hanger thingy on Pip's door - one both he and I can actually reach to hang things on.

So far, today has involved a good gym visit where I bumped into a gym buddy I've not seen in weeks so we had a good natter, a liddle shop, collecting a vntd package, collecting 2 prescriptions for Pip and a tosco delivery. It was definitely a 3 egg breakfast!

I did 10K steps yesterday as well. And started making things too.

I also made a decision about the strategically planted but rampant and untrained honeysuckle. Instead of pruning it now, I'll cut it back hard, but leave the body of it still attached to the trellis, to give some cover over the winter, then remove it once next years' growth is sufficient to provide cover. Hope it works!

Pip had his first day at college today - the induction. It seems that everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. But he survived! And is out tonight at the theatre with his partner's family, so a fun end to the day.

I had safeguarding training at centre 1, so earned myself a few pennies.

I went skip diving the other day and salvaged some broken slabs. I put them by the back gate. Later on in the day I moved them into the garden and I'm sure they had doubled in weight 🤣
