Apple muncher's number crunching

Have kondo-ed buttons and ribbons, which resulted in a fair number of ribbons to go, but has just amalgamated the buttons into 1 jar.
2 wash loads done. Decided to do the nets as they are rathergrey, and found some whiter than white ones which are now in their place. They are thicker, so you can see nowt through them!
Did some bunny sewing and turning limbs the right way round. Cut out and sewed the white limbs needed.
Made soup.
Made choc cakes to take on Fri.
Got an aldee shop in (well under £28!) and got home before 9.
Have since been waiting in for the delivery. REALLY hope it is dd's passport. We fly out in 11 days...
Didn't do a workout as such, but did jog most of the way to aldee and did 1000 skips with the rope later.
I have cancelled our veggie box. Shame, after several years, but dh doesn't think it is value for money now. And I must admit that , even with only having it fortnightly, it was over 10% of the food budget but not 10% of the food quantity - I still bought plenty of veg elsewhere. I shall investigate a greengrocer on my way home from work - tho he shuts at 4 some days! And continue to buy organic from aldee where it's available..NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Hi apple muncher
Just found your diary, after jumping from Lilty's, mind if I stick around for a while?
Am very intrigued about the bunnies... do you have a picture? They sound super-cute.
I'm a crafty so-and-so too, but rarely get the time for sewing these days. In fact, I was even considering selling my sewing machine last week, but can't bring myself to do it (I think Lilty would shout too...).

Howdy doody, MeandO, you thread jumper, you! Please do stick around, if you can wade through the wittering as I mutter on to myself...
Re the bunnies, they are vaguely based on the tilda ones - lots of pics on p1nterest. (I don't know how to post piccies on here - shhh!)
Whatever you do, DO NOT SELL THE SEWING MACHINE. Ok? How would you make more wonderful cushions? Wonderweb? I think not...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
S t i l l. Waiting for delivery...
Lovely neighbour came round while I did the school run.
However, I've now made hm mayo, as I want some coleslaw. And the chocolate part of the icing for the cakes is cooling.
Steps are good.
Dd has a little friend over to play, so all happy there.

OOOH my mum still makes this apple muncher, we call it milk-jelly-mousse! Best with raspberry jelly, or great with lime jelly for a zesty twist lol

Y10 parents eve all done and dusted. Only a handful of parents to see, and all very lovely indeed.
Another bag dropped off at the Sally Army, and a cheque banked.
Dd had a great time on a trip to Shoreham lifeboat station and Brighton pier.
No work tomorrow yippee!
Dd is happily using stampers to decorate the inside of her fairy house-
Tomorrow's to do list is made already, thoi'm sure I'll add more to it in the morning.

Decided to take another bag to the Sally Army, and improve my step count. So 4 buses (and 2 walks) later, nearly 3 hours have passed. Oops.
Still got 2 more bags of stuff, and haven't done much kondo-ing recently either.
I did get all the plastic pots out on to the side this morning. (They are still there). Some have poorly fitting lids. They do not spark joy, and always get put back so i can find another one. No more!!!!!! I have 35 mins until the school run, so shall get up and do it now.
