Ooh, Lilt, exciting!! May I just say that if it isn't going to definitely get here by Friday, can you keep hold of it for 2 more weeks, as we shall be in Texas and I don't want to miss it! Thank you

Looked at my online banking yesterday and was v happy that there haven't been many transactions this month, and I know what each one is for. I have also paid for a cottage for dd and I for a week in July, and am still comfortable with the amount in my account. A happy apple here!

Really MUST start a comprehensive packing list. This time next week we shall be on our way to the airport, and on Sat I'll be out with dd from 10-5, so need to be all packed by Friday. Eek.

It will be warmer out there, but not by much, it seems. My main item must be antihistamines as mil has a cat + 2 dogs. And my own pillow case and small towel.

Off to mooch on mse. MeandO - am trying to get to read your diary before it gets epic length!

OOOh, Texas sounds exciting apple muncher, have a brilliant time!

You'll be pleased to know I've decided not to sell the sewing machine. Thought I'd need it last week when putting new curtain and pole up, but was very lazy and put pole a bit higher so I wouldn't have to turn the curtains up!!! In my defence, he has high ceilings - I could get away with it! :rotfl:

A good day at work; another Nsd to add to the total; another bag to The Sally Army, so £2 credit; anothrr bunny completely finished.

4 more bunnies to do by weds, so I can tidy up the bits and pieces.

A pesky toffee pulled out a filling this afternoon - serves me right for eating one! But I've got an appt to see the dentist on weds am. Phew! And am in no pain. Yet...

I think dd may miraculoisly be asleep, but i'll give her a bit longer, in case sjhe is faking it...


Ooooh - checked the eeather for whrre we are going. A few days ago, it had it around 16-18 degress. Now it is aroind 28 - yay! Scurries away to add suncream to a list somewhere...

I've adapted a 'recent' packing list for dd and I - 2 years ago we were in Banff for dsd's wedding up a mountainside, all dressed up in our ski gear. Bit different from what we need to pack this time!

Now to mull over them and adapt.

or maybe read a book...

or just go to bed.
