    A new week.

A colleague is off poorly,so I expect to have to cover some of her classes.

Aiming a) to get 10,000 steps in and b) to keep off the sweets!

If I can do those, then I'll be happy...

Have done the steps and scoffed fewer sweeties :D.

Also squeezed in another Zwow: 3x 10 burpee with step up; 10 each side DB row with twist; 10 prisoner squat jump; 10 pike position 1-legged push up. Took me about 14m30. :j

Popped into Sally Army shop on my way home - when I took them a bag of stuff lsst week, they forgot to give me another bag to fill. Then I popped into ice1and: milk, petits pois, frube, daim bars, finger of fudge and chomp, more loo roll. £9.39 of which £5 was on choc for dd. Oops.

Need to mend an inside leg seam on my work trousers as I cannot wear the only other pair that fit for the rest of the week!

I think dd is asleep - she is holding myhand, so the test is when I let go... If she's asleep then I can mend the trews and go and be a grown up reading my book!

We have had a smattering of snow - yippee!!

Colleague still off, so more covering needed. Long day ahead as have an after-school 'club' to do - tried to change it but no one could swap.

Am going to bed too late, so may join dd tonight! She had a bad dream at midnight ish and ended up in with me where she was fairly disturbed. Not sure why...

Amazingly, dd was asleep by 8.30 last night! Unheard of, so not surprisingly, she's caught a stinker of a cold and will not be going to school today. Her face is puffy, she's full of green snot, and has lost her voice, poor thing. She looks a wreck!

So my super busy jam-packed day will have to change. No cheerleading at 8, no morning spent at dd's school as a governor, no quick nip homefor lunch, no going on the bus after lunch with dd's class for a singing rehearsal with 9 other schools...

Instead, I'll take dd up to Sains as we have run out of her bread - bad mummy - and spend nectar points. But not take her round aldee - that can wait til Friday.

And maybe cut out some more bunnies. Since cutting out 3 last week, I have done nothing more. Oops.

We have done quite a lot today,'thanks to the car. Sains took my money mostly jn nectar points. PO posted my parcel. Chemist providdd strawberry ca1po1. Then at 4pm, other chemist rang because almost all of dd's presc had arrived. So, there'd been no need to buy bread!

We have started a game of Monopoly. Picked up the set from a ch shop for £1. It 's an old style one which dd loves.

Dd has finished her massive 468 page book - proud mummy here!

I did anothrr workout while dd read and played before bed. 4x: 10 belly down burpee with tuck jump; 20low jacks; 10 strict mountain climber: 10commando push up; 20 knee hugs. 15m01. :T

I wonder if dd will be wrll enough for school tomorrow...

Dd was not really well enough for school again today, but lovely neighbour had her for me. :D. I was able to set work for my sixth form classes and just teach the morning. Neighbour said dd was perfectly happy there so I dawdled home via the ch shops. Blew a NSD but did snaffle some nice bits!

£4 on a small bodum cafetiere - not cheap but we broke ours several months ago and haven't replaced with new cos it costs so much.
£2 on a lovely 'grow into' cotton cardi for dd
£1.50 on a lovely 'grow into' teeshirt for dd
£2.50 on a fatface top for me
£1.00 on 4 wooden dollies for dd
£1.00 on a belt for me
25p on a mauve pillowcase for making bunnies
50p on 2 cooking books, 1 is for a friend
50p on a gorgeous skirt for dd
50p on purple lycra dance leggings for dd

    Total:£13.75

Dd is desperate to go to school tomorrow, but I am not sure she could manage it. We'll see if she can wake up tomorrow...

Dd is still lingering in the snotty, drippy nose phase whilst simultaneously moving into the cough your guts up phase, all the while maintaining an extremely pale visage with dark-rimmed eyes. Needless to say, she'll be staying in with me tonight. I wake every time she coughs, so it is much easier to have her next to me.

She has been a poorly munchkin this term, and will have had 8 days off ill in about 5 weeks. Must mention that to the consultant next week. Dd stopped having iron medicine when it ran out last summer and I'm wondering if there is a correlation between that and the myriad of poorliness she has had in y2. Or maybe her classmates are simply a germy bunch!

    (short interlude in typing)

Just remembered that when she was littler, dd used to cough so much that she would be sick. Have just popped a bowl by her and propped her up on the pillows.

Best go and join her xx

Having slept fairly well, dd chose to go to school. She assured me that she would drink her milk and sit down on her favourite bench at lunchtime play. So she has gone in. And I have not had a call to collect her, so it seems like she'll survive the whole day.

I've done jobs aplenty and am relishing in the crossing off of them from the sheet of boxes I made. It is very good to have time without dd!

Want to go to bed. Can't go to bed. Only 2 points difference in the score. Just over 2 mins to go...

Finally another NSD! It is so easy to slip into bad habits.

Dd is still pretty full of snot and cold, but it is less green and more yellow, so she is slowly mending. Despite that, she still did her ballet and freestyle classes with gusto.

I managed to mostly watch 1 rugby match, but dd now wants HER channel on the box, so it's bye bye to Scotland v France.

Dh is due home tonight - yippee! Must text him to check he has his door key...
