Poor little thing, it's horrible to be so ill
Hope she feels better very soonEarly retired - 18th December 2014

Dd has declared today to be 'the best day of being poorly' as she is slowly on the mend. She has lost about 10% of her bodyweight and now we must feed her. But she's just not into food, even on an all-cylinders-firing kind of day.
Today she has stayed awake for 10 hours, eaten some simple food, and done a poo. A day of triumphs!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Dd has had some toast, some warm milk and a thin slice of very plain pizza (olive oil + mozarrella) this morning - yippee!
She sat up to open her presents and after about 3, she resorted to laying down and having me pass them to her! She is still horizontal and exhausted.
She devised a tough workout for me to do, but accepted the ZCUT one: 10 mins of 40 secs work: sumo squat jump + squat jump; tuck jump (supposed to be a side hop, but not do-able in the bedroom!); burpee with roll over and knee hug; mountain climber; push up plank down to elbows and up again. 3 rounds in total, then a lovely shower and hairwash. We have a 4 min timer in the shower, so I turn it on and off when I have the water on, and can get washed and shaved and hairwashed in 3 mins! A small amount saved after dd's epic number of recent baths!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

No more food into dd since breakfast - unless you count some haribo! - but she is perking up tremendously, and now playing with her buildabears. All except 3 (she has 12+) have been sourced from ch shops over time, and part of her bday presents was a bundle of bab clothes. So she is introducing them all to each other (also got 2 'new' ones today, onebeing a polar bear that moos!) and changing their clothes.
It is so lovely to see her - and hear her - playing. About every 20 mins she lays down for a while, then sets off again.
I'm hoping to get some tea into her, but am sure she will not be at school tomorrow, and may only manage part of Thurs, as the thought of just sitting up all day (let alone stand, work, move, walk about and go up and down stairs AND walk to school) exhausts her!
Haven't achieved much today, apart from plenty of time with dd, so time well spent! Tea may be some salmon, or a lasagne with strips of courgette instead of pasta... Or ham, egg and chips!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Dd ended the day much bouncier, and only went to sleep at 9.30pm - back to normal there, then!
Tomorrow I shall walk her to the post box, to post the Sylv Fam thingy she wants to join for a year. Let's see how she copes with a 400m walk each way...
Dh plans to take thurs off so I can go to work - hope this happens as I have much to do by end of play Thurs.
To do tomorrow:
- post box paperwork and trundle
- washing up
- oodles of tidying up
- ensure got cash for Elsa
- accept amaz0n offer on books - first time using them
- discuss wool colours with dd for boy dolly to knit
- weigh in for biggest loser - may win wooden spoon for gain this week...
- do a workout
Dh goes away on Sunday for 2 or possibly 3 weeks. Not ideal, but we shall muddle through.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Dd managed the walk ok. Boy was it cold out there! She has been up and about more today, and much more vertical than horizontal than of late. She ate a little lunch - 1 toast finger and a smidge of plain butter and pink milk. More than yesterday!
A box is ready to go to amzn trade-in. Am hoping that once dh gets home I can nip up to aldee and get the food shop done, get cash out (including money for Elsa), and drop off the box.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
A good day at work. Completed y11, 12, 13 reports; got wheels turning for a day trip to France; wet break turned into sunshine so stir-crazy kids got to run around like loonies; fun with crazy deputy head; enjoyable lessons.:D
Dd goes back to school tomorrow, which 'forces' me to stay in, in case I'm needed to collect her. She has regained a little weight and is coping with life much better.
Tomorrow I hope to do:
- school run - ha ha not optional!
- make fairy cakes for party
- make big bday cake
- make cheese scones
-'sweep floor
- whites wash
- wash up
- finish clearing table
- put hair on dd's dolly
Dh goes away to tother side of the world on Sunday evening, for 2 weeks. Whilst he is away I hope to:
- wean dd off having me sit with her every night till she falls asleep
- plan meals and thus mimimise shopping spends
- declutter some more books (amzn, fatbrain, etc - must look up list of websites in old notebook)
- walk a lot
- lose weight - but need to eat consistently, and well - link to planning and moving
- visit parents with dd?
- research a summer holiday?
Enough! Pigs may yet fly over appleworld...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
